I want to change the narrative, there's nothing cheeky about Nando's its all leg, thigh and breast!

You know what to expect from a Nandos and if not let me enlighten you. Chicken is not a meat to be cooked with just salt and pepper, some may dash a lemon or orange on it to really jazz it up... NO!

Chicken is a meat that needs seasoning proper, away from home you wont get your full seasoning in a chicken unless you go to specialist establishments where the food comes with vibes. But at Nandos they marinade your chicken whilst cooking in a sauce to accompany how hot you have chosen to have it.

My top tip is ask for it "Well done" the chicken gets that extra fluffy texture which holds the marinade much better than the slightly rubbery texture where the sauce slides off easily.

So I had half a chicken, hot, well done, spicy rice and chips with a bottomless drink. Food came out just as asked for, not a long wait, I picked up our cutlery and additional sauces whilst waiting. Wild herb, Garlic, hot sauce and ketchup, mix those together on your plate for the ultimate dipping sauce!

Chicken was well done as asked for, plate was left with nothing but bones, service was friendly, resturant clean, music I cant actually remember and that's unusual as I usually remember the norm which tends to be african inspired tracks that have you enjoying the food whilst dancing in your seat.

If you need a good meal that has flavour and will fill you up then head to Nandos, chicken is not just chicken, treat it with the right amount of love and herbs and it's CHICKEN!

An absolute joke! I had guest over and between the 4 of us we decided to order 2 boneless platters from here via the website. Once the food finally arrived (late) you could imagine we was all starving ready to tuck in, only to find out the have forgotten one WHOLE platter. So 2 of us have to go hungry, lol ridiculous. When I rang up all they could do was "offer a refund" that takes 2 - 10days to appear back in my account or "come in and grab what was forgotten" absolutely unacceptable. They couldn't even get it re delivered to me. I'm sure in establishments like nandos, when processing orders you should be doing diligent checks before letting orders leave. She said herself on the phone she can "see my missing order". So much for checking and fulfilling orders....

We ordered 4 large rice and a full chicken platter last night. We got home and what was supposed to be 4 large rice was approximately 1/3 filled in each box - exactly 5 tablespoons each when measured. Each box was only about 1/3 far from the mark inside the box where the content should have been filled up to.

We called them up to complain as this was our 2nd experience and to our disdain, a member of staff who spoke to us basically went "Ok. Rice smaller than it should be. I'll pass it on. Ok. Bye". She just hung up. No apology. Didn't show any remorse. No emotion.

Next time you order a takeaway especially rice, pls open up before you leave. We got less than 2 regular rice for the price of 4 large...
