I was so excited to hear that I could order Nando's after not getting my fix for such a long time. I ordered online and I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to wait very long for delivery. I took the brown paper bag into my kitchen and was like a child at Christmas opening a present. I was so excited. I looked inside and couldn't wait to open the delights that were in store for my husband and I for our wedding anniversary meal. Well, what can I say, my disappointment can only be measured by the child getting a calculator for Christmas when they were expecting a pony. I ordered 2 rice as side dishes but who ever packed my order obviously thought a sweetcorn has morphed into a rice and packed it in my bag. The 1/2 a chicken I don't think was chicken. It was so small I feel it could have been a sparrow in disguise. My husband hunted through the box and eventually found it cowering in the corner. By the time he found it, it was cold. The lettuce in my wrap looked like it had been scrapped from the bottom of the salad drawer in the fridge, I can just imagine someone saying 'we need some lettuce, but we have run out', 'don't worry I can scrape these few leave from the bottom of the drawer, after I've washed them, covered them in mayo they will be fine'. I tried to call the restaurant but when it gave the number to press to 'talk to a member of the team' the lady suddenly started talking in tongues and no matter how many times I listen and my husband we could not work out which number she said. I tried them all, there is only 9 numbers it could have been, but it was disappointment again. Now don't let my review put you off as I will go back to the restaurant when they open but I will not order online again. I will say I did giggle when my husband woke up telling me he had not had a great sleep as his arse had been on fire. Well done Nando's for making a marinade which is actually hot for him. I won't blame Nando's for ruining my anniversary...

Unplanned 5pm on a Friday visit and was sited promptly on a table that wobbled everywhere sticky even after wiped down by staff chair wobbled
Massive queue to Oder as only one person on till so used qr code
Took 10 min to get glasses to get a drink and another 5 for starters
Person that I assumed was the Manager laughing and joking with staff wondering around asking them how dose his hat look rather than pulling up the staff that were not washing hands when coming in and out of cooking area staff who have long hair wearing it down not wearing hair nets at food prep and cooking stations
One staff member came over to say it would be 15 min to get the two skin on chicken breasts in the burger so I said it’s ok if they are not the skin on breasts and he left
Food eventually arrived underwhelming isn’t the word not sure how things are cooked (barely) in Nando’s but deffo not cooked on a grill tasteless and soggy they all seemed more concerned about the deliveroo and just eat orders chicken was barely cooked in wife’s meal mine was missing one chicken breast and when I asked about the missing one was told someone came to speak to me about it As my burger cost £16 I wanted what I paid for not given a poor substitute this was fixed promptly though with extra soggy chips I’m assuming as compensation
Chips warm not hot and garlic bread like a brick and no flavour in anything really

Read moreO Nando's o Nando's that beautiful Piri chicken. I can't stay away but this restaurant isn't great. Food is good but very late, come early if you're on a date.
Enough of the prose. It's Nando's so the food is self explanatory. Good grilled chicken and equally good veggie options with a nice variety of sides. Supergrain and lovers are my favourite. This place does the job in delivering the product, though I sometimes find their wings to be smaller than other Nando's, maybe it's me.
TAKEAWAY It's lost stars because of its overall service though. I think general Nandos has gotten too popular for its own good. This seems to be taking a toll on service and timing of food delivery. We go here to get takeaway at least once every couple weeks and half the time will find that an item is missing for example. If they say 30 mins for food it will be more like 45. Plus you sometimes need to remind them to bring your order when waiting for takeaway. Always check your food before leaving.
EAT IN Service is decent though could be 50/50. You have some that are nice and some that can't be bothered. Overall it's a decent experience and probably better than the takeaway experience. During peak times though you will wait a while for a table (as with any Nando's).
All and all it does the job and will fill a Nando's craving. Just don't expect it be as fast...
