I recently visited Village Cafe, a charming coffee shop that serves breakfast, and I must say, it was an absolute delight. The coffee is also worth mentioning. They serve a range of expertly brewed coffees that cater to all tastes, from a rich, dark roast to a smooth, creamy latte. I particularly enjoyed their house blend, which had a deep, robust flavor without being overly bitter. The use of an analog radio to maintain the atmosphere gives the café a unique, nostalgic charm. The staff at Village Cafe are friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. They made sure I had everything I needed and were happy to accommodate any special requests. In summary, Village Cafe is a wonderful spot for breakfast and coffee. The food is excellent, the coffee is top-notch, and the analog radio adds a special touch that makes the atmosphere truly unique. I highly recommend giving it a visit.

Tried the local cafe but was a bit disappointed. Ordered a full english and was not really tasteful, but can't complain much as this was £6.70 with tea and toast. They have an extensive menu, with loads to choose from. This is good for people who are on a tight budget and want a meal out.

I came in here for some breakfast recently as I was in the area and thought I’d give it a try. I can’t say I was overly impressed. When I walked in I realised that they didn’t serve proper sausages, moreover those bangers which contain so little pork meat they can’t actually be called sausages. Sadly this is common with a lot of cafes, so I ordered an omelette and chips which is usually a safe bet. Both of these seemed overcooked. The omelette was quite hard, not light a fluffy as it should be, and the chips tasted like they had been re-fried. This isn’t a cafe I’d come back...

I really like these friendly community tea rooms. Excellent for local information and activities. Info available about other clubs in the area. Disabled toilets available. Great staff who are friendly . Good service. Serving a range of food from coffee and cakes to light lunches and a breakfast menu to Sunday lunches. Check website for opening times and telephone number for booking. Booking not always necessary for light lunches or coffee and cake. However would advise booking for Sunday lunches, afternoon teas or other functions. Can do outside catering to suite budget...
