Terrible customer experience with rude staff member. Four of us walked in yesterday and we asked whether it would be possible to try a flavour before picking (this is not an unusual request). The staff member (very grumpily, might I add) said yes. After 2 of us tried ONE flavour each, he asked if we were a group, to which we replied we were. He then very rudely told us that only 2 samples per group were allowed - almost as if we had wasted his time by each trying multiple flavours, which was not the case. I see no logic in this because had we said we were 2 couples, he would've let all four of us try a flavour. Also very rudely told us to move along (we weren't blocking any space), like we were cattle.

If you're in the mood for someone's attitude to ruin your day, I recommend you go here - shame really, because the ice cream was excellent but it didn't make up for the staff members' behaviour.

Follow up to the reply from the owner below: I'm sorry, just because you refuse to accept that your staff member was rude does not make you correct. Also you state that you have no problem in making your POLITE customers try different flavours. Are you insinuating that we were not polite when we entered the shop? Because I can assure you that we asked beforehand whether it was okay to try a flavour (as I've stated above) and your staff member was the one who was rude with his reply. It also makes no sense that he MISSED the request because it was the first thing we asked. I also note that from your replies to all your customers that have had bad experiences that you are incapable of accepting that your Gelateria could have done any wrong - really not the way to run a business. On principle, definitely the last time any of us will walk in...

If you want excellent ice cream you should go there and I am also ok to pay more than 3Ā£ for one scoop of ice cream but today I was more than disappointed. I got two scoops today for my friend and me and we were asked if we want two different cups. When we then paid we didn’t get the discounted price of about 4Ā£ for two scoops but needed to pay more than 6Ā£ just because we got two cups and each cup counts as one new scoop. On the price list it clearly says 2 Scoops cost 4 pound something. Why do they even have a price list if they don’t stick to it? What a joke…biggest rip-off I have ever had in London. After telling the lady she did not ever care about it. But as it seems from other bad reviews here on Google the owner just praises himself with his long existence and long queues of customers instead of finding a proper solution. And ofc they have a long queue sometimes - there is almost no other option on a sunny day in Clapham Common. Cannot recommend and expect either a clear price table...

I have been living in Clapham for over 4yrs now, and I had no clue about this quiet lovely ice cream place close to Clapham Common. First of all, was deeply impressed with the service. A friend and I were walking down looking for this, but before we entered we saw that the shop was past it's closing time. The doors were still open though, so we walked in and ordered a couple of ice creams (thinking that we would take them out if they did not allow us to sit). We were pleasantly surprised when the person serving us told us that we could sit down and eat it. We were there for 15-20 minutes till we finished our ice creams, and not once did the server ask us to rush. Talking about the ice creams, the portions are simply huge! Also, there are a variety of flavours on offer. I am not sure whether these are 'genuine gelatos' or not, but I really don't care. They taste very well and that's all I care about. :-) Strongly...

Nardulli absolutely nails gelato. There's a lot of places in London to buy gelato but precious few who make it in house and very very few that do it as well as Nardulli The flavours tend towards the classics and there is a really great selection across fruits, nuts and chocolate. It's not cheap but the very second you see it in the cone you can see why, and as soon as you take last first lick you know where the money went. Intense flavours of whatever delight you have chosen wrapped up in a creamy base and a delicious waffle cone. If I was nit picking I don't think there sorbetto is a good as the gelato but it's still damn tasty. I always get the pistachio and it never disappoints.

Swing by Nardulli near Clapham Common for gelato that lives up to the hype! Just a 5-minute stroll from Clapham Common Station and the park, it’s the perfect spot for a grab-and-go treat. I went for their famous pistachio paired with black cherry which were both creamy, fresh, and bursting with flavor for Ā£5.35, a steal for homemade gelato in London. The queue was long, as expected for a sunny day, but the speedy staff kept it moving fast. Grab your scoop and head to the Common for a perfect afternoon. Highly recommend for Clapham visitors or locals craving a sweet escape—just brace for the line and enjoy the treat!

My friend took me there for ice cream for the 1st time. You must expect a long queue of about 15-20min, but there is a reason for that......it is so good!!!! It is a popular ice cream in the Clapham area. I chose cinnamon and passion fruit. AMAZING!! The staff was great especially the Brazilian guy Yuri-really friendly and polite. Always a big smile in his face Is a "must place" to visit if you go to Clapham common. 27.08.23....returned to take my son to have this great ice cream. Yuri was amazing with his service and big smile. It was busy but no queues this time. Worth a visit guys. High recommended.
