Worst customer service: I ordered a lot of food for take away. I asked them if I can sit on a chair and have a cup of tea while I wait for the order. They told me to sit at a desk that had a pile of used plates. I asked them to clear the table. They told me "you don't have to eat anything here. You can sit here if you want or otherwise you can stand outside. We are not going to clear the table. Also, the tea will take 30 mins". I sat at that table. After 5 mins the waiter told me that I can't sit there as he has given this table to some other customer. I asked him how can he do that while I am sitting at that table. I told him that I am waiting for my takeaway food and tea that is to be served. They told me that if I want food I can stand outside otherwise they have many other customers. This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life. Needless to say I am not going there again. The waiters are extremely rude and have no manners. I have been there before. Previously, the rudeness was limited to saying things like " order everything including the deserts now, we can't take order again and again if you change your mind while eating". I thought probably that's the way this guy talks. But after today's experience I won't recommend anyone...
Read moreVery nice breakfast. Typical Pakistani menu and being a lover of north west Indian / Punjabi food, you have to love this Pakistani joint where you get meat added to your platter. (*typical Indian breakfast is similar minus the meat). The owner and his assistant were super charming and helped us decide the menu. They suggested the two of us go for one side but the food lover that we are and this being our first visit, could not resist taking two. Although had to pack more than half of the second dish home. (had a sumptuous dinner as well😋😋). The Nihari was awesome, spicy and fulfilling. The Chana with chicken was just like desi roadside stalls. Aalu paratha was direct from. Punjab, very flavourful. The Halwa could have been more sweet, however, felt good with poori. We also had masala tea, which was as expected. The hospitality was commendable. Very reasonably priced. Definitely recommended for a spicy non vegetarian/ vegetarian...
Read moreThis is one of the best 'Desi' breakfast spot in the vicinity. I am talking about seriously authentic taste of halwa puri and parathas for a filling and hearty weekend. It is authentic Lahori taste so you won't be disappointed.
Try their variety of paratha as they have many from potato, lachha, etc. Star dish for morning (or brunch) is obviously the chola/halwa puri with their house speciality tea.
It gets busy on Sunday especially on good weather around brunch time so expect some delays in getting a seat. The service is fast and efficient and food is freshly prepared in front of you. Staff is very generous and accommodating and larged families or kids are well catered for.
I've been going here for more than a decade and never had anything but good experience. Highly recommended from someone who grew up eating this as a regular breakfast...
