Now Peri Peri, Hornchurch — Restaurant in London

Ordered for delivery. Received a text to say order was ready for pick up. Phoned and queried - was told would have to pick up. Arrived at the shop, chips were not ready and a delivery driver was waiting for it! Said I might as well take it as here now and asked for refund on delivery charge. They can't do it in store, have to ring a different number. Did that - they said they'd confirm the refund with a return call. That was an hour ago and I've had no call. Got food home we are about 8 minutes tops away from the shop. 8 hot chicken wings / peri peri chips. Wings no flavour and the peri peri salt had only been applied to one chip (wish I'd taken a photo) and they were cold 6 plainish chicken strips and chips. Chicken was very dry, chips cold.

Ordered from here nearly 100 times from uber eats and thats not counting the times ive ordered from other services such as deliveroo, or even sat in store back before covid restrictions (I wish theyd bring this back). Probably the best peri peri place in the country and miles better than Nandos.

If i only had one criticism (other than wanting in store dining to return), it would be that the price of some items such as skewers can be quite pricy. That being said they are so good i tend to order some anyway, but would understand if people couldn't afford them.

Besides this, i rarely have any problems here and on occasions where there might have been an issue with the order, they have always corrected straight away without any issues. The food is top notch. 5 stars and will continue to order from here regularly.

I did a telephone order at now peri peri and ordered two chicken wraps mild. I clearly stated this on the phone and the guy on the phone confirmed this as well. I went to collect my food 15mins later and the woman at the counter said we only got 1 order for 1 wrap and rudely said she didn’t take the order. She said she will add another wrap but I have to wait for another 15mins. I found the service horrible and felt lied upon. Even the manager called me later with no sorry or anything and came across arrogant saying I wasted their order. I stormed out the shop and they did nothing to help me. I will never order from this place again, I have been before and you always have to wait for long periods, they are very unorganised and overpriced.
