We recently dined at this restaurant, and while there were several positive aspects, a few key areas left us disappointed.
First, the service timing could use significant improvement. My wife and I were served our dishes with a 20-minute gap between plates, which disrupted the flow of our meal. Dining together should mean being able to enjoy our meals at the same time, and this misstep detracted from the experience.
Second, the dish I ordered—California rolls—did not meet my expectations. Instead of the advertised salmon, it was made with crab and fish eggs. While the substitution itself is not an issue, I would have appreciated being informed of the change beforehand. Transparency is important in a dining experience.
That said, the food we received was well-prepared and tasty, and the staff was attentive, friendly, and professional. They made us feel welcome, which is always a highlight.
Overall, this restaurant has potential but needs to address these operational inconsistencies to elevate the customer experience. With some adjustments, I’d be happy to give it...
Read moreMy partner & I come here once a week, if not once biweekly (we live locally). We decided to celebrate Valentines Day here and we are happy we did!
Our top two favourite in their entire menu has to be the ‘Crunchy Prawn Maki Roll’ & ‘Crispy Duck & Cucumber Maki Roll’ with ginger and Teriyaki Sauce! But then again everything else we’ve tried on their menu doesn’t disappoint!
The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet depending on what time of day you come (we mostly go in the evenings after 8pm). The decoration is very bland but that doesn’t matter as the food is amazing!
Delivery drivers come in a lot (Deliveroo & UberEATS) which does disturb the peace a bit.
SOMETIMES the service is quite slow but I guess it’s because they only mainly have 1 chef (I think; from my observation). Other than that the service is always good and the waitress’ are super friendly!
I would recommend this place to friends and family!...
Read moreWe stopped by for a mid afternoon snack (rather than fast food or a bag of chips) and was pleasantly surprised by the value for money and great taste. 4 plates of sushi came in at £24 and the girl who served us was friendly with a nice smile. The only small criticism was that whilst we given soya sauce for the sushi there wasn’t any ginger or wasabi. We didn’t ask as we were busy talking and enjoying people watching but it wasn’t offered. Small thing though. Recommend the tempura prawn maki roll. Good...
