Thai Rice — Restaurant in London

We have never been this disappointed in a restaurant. This restaurant should be shut down. We did not even had a a chance to eat the food because the whole team was so disorganised, both front of house and back of house. If you are not capable of running a restaurant, please do not do it. You have delayed all our timings with work and everything.

We just ordered two boat noodles. We were not told that it would take more than an hour for them. Moreover, when we asked after 30mins into waiting, we were informed that it will be ready in next 10 minutes.

But, when we asked again after that 10 minutes, they said it will take more or less 45minutes more. I do not know how they even dare to charge for our 2 drinks which we had while waiting for their food. Never coming back and I can see your restaurant closing down for good soon if you keep running the operation like that. Customer service is at best sad as well. Cannot work under pressure, did not know how to turnaround a situation as well. I’d sue the place if I could. You wasted our time and everyone.

P.s - It wasnt just us. All the delivery drivers and other customers were frustrated too. Worse restaurant in London. I’m sure your food is bad too when all the staffs are just lost and cracking under the pressure. The restaurant wasn’t even packed at the time when we were there. What a Joke. They do not even have an explanation for why all the delays are happening. They just handed you the bill for the drinks. My advice, avoid that restaurant at all cost. Try the taco place beside them. Not even mediocre. Ordered via Amazon Restaurant on 4th July, 9PM - crispy duck, 2 pad med muamang (battered chicken and battered squid), and coconut rice. Arrived quickly enough - around 30 mins from time of ordering.

For the crispy duck , the duck itself was OK but (1) the hoi sin sauce was clearly watered down as it was far too runny and the water and the sauce had separated and (2) there were all of 10 slices of cucumber. Why skimp out on such cheap ingredients?!?!

The pad med weren't great - the batter had become completely soggy even though the delivery arrived pretty quickly and didn't taste authentic, and the chicken was as dry as cardboard. Didn't really taste of anything distinct overall.

Finally, the coconut rice wasn't as coconutty as it could have been - sounds stupid, but just didn't taste right. Again, skimping out the ingredients / watering things down.

I wouldn't even want to give it a star. Ordered online at 6.20pm for delivery. 7.27pm no one showed up so I called and was told there was a 'printing problem' they didn't even start making my order, and they didn't even have the decency to ring me? No, they don't, so the lady took my order over the phone saying 'we will get this made and sent to you straight away'. 8.00pm no news, I phoned and was told driver left a while a ago. Guess what the restro is 10 mins away, driver showed up at 8.16. He even admitted he left not long ago. I wouldnt be more upset if they didn't lie their way through (except the driver). Typical BS. Dishonest and the food isn't even good, definitely not worth 2 hours waiting. I paid full price and waited 2...
