“We were thrilled that we’d found David and Simply Paella to cater for our 21st Wedding Anniversary celebrations! The whole process could not have been easier. After a fun tasting session in Portobello Road, David was full of great suggestions for feeding 130 people in our garden and was totally flexible about numbers right up until the week before, when we had the final head count. We decided upon seafood, chicken & chorizo and vegan paellas, which made sure everyone was included even the gluten free members of the family. It was a gorgeous evening, David and his team set up in double quick time on the terrace and created a colourful and delicious smelling welcome as guests arrived. The paella was gobbled down and guests thoroughly enjoyed the whole spectacle and loved David! Then he and his partner tidied up and disappeared into the night with no fuss and leaving no mess. Advice on which paella to offer and care over the ingredients, should any of our guests have had special food requirements, helped me feel confident that my party food would be enjoyed by everyone. Going to the food stall in the market and tasting the product was really reassuring too.

On the day, the food was well organised and delicious. Many of my guests commented on what a good idea it was to have instead of a normal buffet or formal sit-down arrangement and I know some people went up for several helpings.

When the meal was over, everything was tided up and clear so that there was no trace of them having even been. I also enjoyed the fact that I did not have to worry about cutlery and so on.

Paella really is a great choice for your event for value for money, taste and ease. Can’t recommend...

We found Simply Paella online as we were looking for an authentic paella for our wedding party. We went to taste the food at their stall on Portobello Road. It was delicious and looked really great. During the whole process, David was incredibly accommodating and there was never anything that couldn’t be done. David is one of the nicest people and made everything run smoothly before and on the day. We had four different paella dishes, and every single one was amazing and looked appetising. All of our wedding guests commented on how delicious the paella was and one of our guests is half Spanish and said it was as good as the paella she had for her wedding in Spain .. a great compliment for Simply Paella and for us in choosing them.
