I recently went to Mango Curry for some late night craving takeaway. Am I ever glad to live near this place! Even though I came in close to closing, they were very friendly and wonderfully quick - I ordered two meals, naan and rice and it was all ready inside of ten minutes! Plus, one of the gents offered me papadum, mango chutney and mint sauce (both sauces very tasty). They also offer a tomato chutney I’d like to try. I ordered aloo gobi and the mixed veg bhuna. Both portions were very well sized and flavored wonderfully. Not enough Indian restaurants do chaats or bhels which is a great shame as they are delicious .They deliver lovely spiced and milder options that are right for me as I cannot tolerate raw onions or too much chilli. The heat still manages to be there but but subtly so which allows other delicate flavours to entertain my palate.Delightful. Read moreOn a dull winter's evening, looking to feel a flicker of emotion in an environment that gives you none, I committed to finding a dish that would make my heart race and revitalise my life force, even if only for an evening. The Naga chilli chicken did exactly that. The spice was not so great that the food was inedible, but strong enough to feel alive for the duration of my meal.
