Wow an unexpected gem! Was looking for a pub with a good craft beer selection (which they def have) and a cosy space (also have) and so ended up here. Saw they had Mexican food before going but didn't really intend to get any (full disclosure, I'm an American expat and have been burned by disappointing Mexican food in the UK one too many times, so have a bit of a "fool me twice" complex). BUT we got hungry while enjoying all our beers and the atmosphere so decided to get the tacos, chips, salsa & guac, and wouldn't you know, it was some of the best we've ever had in London. Really well done, quality and authentic ingredients. Salsa in particular was the most legit one I have found here. Finished off with the churros (and cried tears of joy) aaaaand one last beer. ;) Planning to go back ASAP for burritos and nachos! Super nice, friendly staff that knows their beers, too. Will be back soon!

What a gorgeous little pub! A bit of a walk from the station but once you step inside it is immensely cosy with a buzzing atmosphere! The beer selection was tasty too, I had an Orbit Deadwax Porter- which was toasty and filling! I didn't get the chance to have the 'yeah lovely' burgers but my friends thought they were delicious. With all the thinking lights it felt very festive. Can't wait to go back and try another from their beer selection!

Love the OTT! Great pub, probably our favourite in clapham and a huge fan of their no booking policy that every other pub in clapham seems to have adopted that you need a reservation to have a pint! Nice to be able to turn up somewhere and be welcomed by the staff! Great selection of beers and the Mexican food is great. We went on a Thursday night for a quiet drink and ended up staying for far more than anticipated because of the live music!

Oh. My. WORD. If you haven’t been to The Old Town Tavern in Clapham yet… what are you even doing with your life?! From the moment you walk in you’re wrapped in cosy, golden vibes, the beer selection is impeccable, the food is so good my taste buds are still sending me thank‑you cards, and the atmosphere is like being hugged by 20 of your closest friends, even if you came alone — but what really makes this place the stuff of legend is Jessica, who deserves her own Hollywood star for being effortlessly charming, funny, and somehow everywhere at once without spilling a drop; she made us feel like absolute royalty (but without the beheadings), so do yourself a favour, cancel your weekend plans, grab your mates, and get down to The Old Town Tavern — and don’t forget to tell Jessica she’s a legend,...

Worst pub in Clapham - and I've lived here for 25 years. Claim to have a good ale selection but staff cannot pull a pint or change a barrel. Gave me the remnants of a barrel which tasted awful and didn't want to change it. When my friends and I entered an hour before closing, the staff not only audibly said 'f**k sake more people' but then proceeded to pour us bad pints and then tell us to put them in plastics and leave - all more than 20 mins before closing. They have awful customer service. If you are closing then don't serve drinks, I'd rather be told their closed then for them to take our money for awful pints to be told to leave 5mins later. Unprofessional, not cosy and...
