I booked as the reviews looked great online and bought this as a gift for my friend’s 30th Birthday. Very unpleasant experience. I would not advise visiting, it is the worst wine tasting and tour experience I have been to. We were stood in a freezing cold corrugated iron warehouse which was very mouldy. Not much to see, 4 wines to taste, hardly an enjoyable tour/tasting experience. A waste of money. Very unpleasant tasting wine, the first one tasted like cider, as it was an unfiltered sparkling wine but it smelt like apple cider vinegar, the venue was unsanitary, very unsatisfactory experience. I would advise you to save your money. If you’d like to venture out to a very good value wine tasting, I’d recommend others I’ve been to much cheaper that offer tours of their vineyards, show you how their wines are made, more wines to taste, in the Chiltern valley where you can taste wines in comfort with snacks such as crackers and cheeses which...

I had no idea that there was a winery in London crushing grapes from local (from 200km) vineyards and creating really fascinating wines that will convince even the most sceptical about the quality of wines that can be produced in the UK. These aren't supermarket wines. In fact I am drinking the 2022 Chardonnay from Clayhill Vineyard in Essex as I type this review and it is a very serious wine. I think Blackbook does regular guided tastings, but it is also open on certain evenings for drinks and food. It is in an Arthur Daley style lock up under the railway line near Battersea and while I had my struggles finding the venue, it was certainly...
Read moreShort walk from battersea power station into the industrial estate, so well worth the visit. Tried the sparkling seyval blanc colfondo (cloudy), rose pinot noir, white sauvignac, red pinot noir and red field blend. All were very nice and varied, recommend trying them all as you're sure to find a favourite. The reds are what you'd expect for England but very pleasant. Lucky enough to be there on the opening day for the wine bar. No wine flights available at the time but they plan...
