I've been thinking about my initial review of Particella 107 and would like to apologise to the owner as i was unfair to them. I also thank them for their response to my comments. I have now deleted that review and replaced it with this one which accurately reflects my overall experience@ Particella 107 in the last 2-3 years.
Particella 107 is a family friendly Italian cafe on Tolworth Broadway and serves the best coffee in the area, making it a great pleace for refreshment after volunteering at junior parkrun on a Sunday morning. Usually I tend to opt for decaff americano or cappucino which has a rich deep flavour - and and that is not something which applies to every cafe I have visited. The pizza is delicious too, as well as the meat platter (everything looks really tasty - these are the 2 things I have tried, alongside the croissants and tarts which look and taste amazing). I have suggested meeting there to several friends who have all enjoyed the experience and agree that the coffee is superb. If you want your drinks and food made and served by people who are passionate about what they do, then try out Particella 107.
I have not been asked to write this review - it does accurately reflect my experience of the cafe over the...
Read moreEdit 31 May 2024. I believe it's been two-three years since we ve been going to Particella 107. It's an amazing local Italian restaurant owbed by the very nice people passionate about the food. Went for a family dinner on Friday, the 31st May. Food is delicious,we had fritturina,, tagliatelle, and a margherita, and three glasses of the white. The bill was very, very reasonable. I always take away aubergine parmigiana and we have it for next day dinner. I only wish I could go there more often...
Relatively new discovery to us. Absolutely love the atmosphere, the food is lovely, we had lunch a few times as family, I often pop in in the mornings for a morning espresso. Great for take aways, deli and desserts. And of course, my favourite parmigiana, sfogliatteli and napolitana(?) tart. The people are nice and professional. It's a great addition...
Read moreI’ve only been here for takeaway coffee a couple of times, the staff are very nice and welcoming, the young lady serving is very pleasant, and the food looks good. My only complaint is the coffee - if they served coffee like this in Italy they’ed be run out of town! If I hadn’t known I ordered coffee, I’d have thought I was drinking hot milk. Absolutely no coffee taste at all, I threw mine away half way through; very disappointing.
P.S. thanks for the quick owner response. Unfortunately I did not notice the weakness of the coffee until out of the shop, and on my way to work, so obviously I wasn't going to trek back just to point out dissatistaction with the coffee. It really is incumbent on the seller to regularly check the quality of the product being sold, this would help circumvent any complaints.
But I appreciate your...
