I never write reviews, but I had such a horrible experience from the manager (Jodie) that I wanted to write about it. I often go to Pho (wimbledon and central london) but this was my FIRST TIME to the Kingston branch. I was very upset from the rude service that we had. She was constantly curt. Every answer she gave was abrupt and felt rude). She was very unattentive. (back to our table), and I had to get up to get other staff to help (as she was unhelpful). With the receipt at the end, she said she cant give us a receipt from her payment machine. (But actually, every Pho I have visited elsewhere always give me a receipt from the card reader machine at the table immediately when I pay). She lied to me and said that the machine doesnt give receipts!! Eventually after I demanded a receipt, she issued it from her till. I also asked for all our food to come out together. but it came out very far apart.. I was waiting and waiting, and my food was getting cold. Generally, her rude attitude completely spoiled my meal with my son (whom I was visiting). I did not enjoy this meal at all. I spent £71 on the two of us and felt completely upset and irritated from the manageress's curt and unattentive service. We arrived to the restaurant at about 8:50pm and left at about 10:pm. Also: side note: a bit upset they ran out of Summer Rolls, but that's nobody's fault. But doesnt help when the service was so absolutely rude. (summer rolls is part of the vietnamese experience for me). Even when I got home it was on my mind how rude she was. Again, sorry for the angry review, but this has really bothered me. I dont understand how such rude people can work as a manageress.

Used to be my favorite restaurant, despite my first experience I was served real chicken instead of the fake kind when I'm a vegan! They really made up for it, and giving them a chance afterwards I really enjoyed the mushroom & tofu vegan options. Unfortunately, the same dish I have been ordering for months suddenly lost most of it's flavour and was definitely not the same. I called to check if the chef or recipe had changed and the lady on the phone told me they hadn't and treated it all like it was a bit of a joke. I ordered the same dish 3 more times after this, hoping it would go back to how it was before lockdown. It Didn't! I called again really disappointed and explained how I was at the end of my rope and did not trust that this was the same recipe/method they were using before lockdown. The lady offered to ask the chef to add more sauce , even when I had already explained that was not the issue. I eventually gave up and said I would order something different. I ordered another vegan dish, rice and mushrooms. It arrived swimming in grease to the point it started to pool in the corner of the box and there were No mushrooms to be seen. Could not make it through a few mouthfuls without feeling ill! Take away should be a treat and this was far from that! If you value your health I would stay away from the fried rice and if your looking for flavourful tofu, as heartbreaking as it is to say this, don't chose Pho Kingston!

Over the years, we have many many Pho in the US. Some are definitely better than others but none is as bad as this one. It may be the UK way. I would be sceptical in going for another Pho in the UK. First, the atmosphere of the restaurant is good. There is plenty of room for large and small parties. We have a decent group ordered different Pho and some appetizers. By far, the appetizers are pretty good especially the chicken wings. The fried squid is freshly fried and tasted very good. Now the Pho, they are out of this world meaning they don't use the normal rice noodles, the briskets were shredded not splices, the beef balls were made from ground beef. When we saw and tasted them, we all were extremely surprised. Was it that hard to get real beef balls in the UK? They suppose to be chewy and bouncy. There were like western meatballs but worst. Second, we had never seen anyone served shredded brisket. We could only reason that they couldn't do the brisket. They simply cooked them to somewhat tender then shredded it. That's awful. Lastly, the most important ingredient of the Pho is the soup, that also tasted awful. I doubt they actually uses beef bone to make the soup. If that's how the Pho in the UK are served, we would never have another one again.

We have dined at this Pho often as they have good options for kids meals, however this time was by far one of the worst experiences we have ever had. Firstly, we waited ages for our mains, none of the servers realised our order was missing when we asked and they took a while to finally come to tell us that our mains orders had disappeared and had to be reordered. Secondly, after another lot of waiting, our food arrived and they got one of the orders wrong, I ordered chicken and they gave me beef. Thirdly, atmosphere was poor due to the delivery drivers banging loudly on the doors and a constant flow of them trudging in and out. I believe they focused too much on delivery that they neglected the people who are dining in. Lastly, because they were so slow, I went up and said I want to pay and I was in a rush to leave. She said she would bring the bill to me. Again that took ages and she jumped when I had to call her again because she forgot to send my bill to me!!! I saw issues across multiple tables while waiting and protocols were different, like they offered a table that came in after us drinks on the house because their mains were delayed however we weren't offered that even with the horrendous issues. Lots of things that their management have to look at and resolve in their team, they clearly cannot handle both delivery, dine in and the...
