I was not pleased having a male cleaner take or seem to take a photo of me in the public toilets. Of course, as soon as I got home, I contacted the council and they replied saying they looked into it but staff are not allowed phones on them. They have devices that look like phones but they take pictures to show the areas they have cleaned as proof they have done a sufficient job. Far enough. However, I told them that the cleaner turned to face me and held his device up pointing at me as one would to take a picture. It was just us two alone in the public toilets. I felt extremely uncomfortable but he left quickly after. The council member just said that they informed the company and the company responded that they have spoken to their employees about public etiquette and they have basically been told how to and not to act around the public.

Read moreOn Saturday 29th June, my friend and I were manipulated into a conversation by two aggressive and intimidating blokes who progressively became more and more offensive, calling my part-Maltese friend a Pk, and telling me that I would be cut open if I ever returned because, at 61, I dared to suggest that the regular bar staff (females) were lovely people. Clear perversion!
There is a general election approaching. I wonder whom they'll be voting for.
This bar is lovely. The staff are fantastic. But I shall not return in case my Pk friend and I get 'cut open'.
