This is a great park for local residents for walking, running, cycling etc . A few downsides include the fact that the local school uses it as its recreation ground which means that if you want to take a walk or go for a run while the school kids are on their breaks, then it is not the greatest of experiences. Due to poor drainage in some sections of the park, these can become water logged when it rains and in the winter, the water can turn to ice so that it becomes treacherous to walk. Harrow council can't be bothered to do anything about the poor drainage! Dogs are allowed to roam around freely without muzzles on which means that if you are not comfortable around dogs, then this park could be a challenge for you. In spite of these not so minor niggles, this park remains a local favourite and seems to be getting busier...

The park is connected to a school, so is busy for a time in the mornings and afternoons.
A lot of community sport happens here there is a big open space that holds everything from football to cricket (and think volley ball on occasions) there is free to use outdoor gym equipment. Brand new 5 a side astro turf football pitches and tennis courts, that I believe have to be prebooked.
There is a fenced off children's play area, a cafe, local Police hub and a nursery/preschool on site.
For dog walking it is worth noting that there is no fenced off areas or gates at the entrances and 3 entrances are directly on...

You can easily do a couple of laps of the park in a short time as it's a fairly decent size. There is a cafe in the park too.
The park does tend to get busy in the summers and evenings. But it never feels overcrowded or even crowded for that matter.
The park can also be extremely busy when school finishes as the students leave from the park. I would avoid this time as it's very crowded...
