One of the worst dining experiences we ever had 😞 Ordered Papaya Salad, Chicken Wings, Jungle Curry with Rice, and Pad Thai. Presentation was nice, but from then on else was a letdown. Portions were tiny and massively overpriced The food tasted bland and inauthentic The Papaya Salad was a tiny portion, completely lacking in flavour and authenticity. No traditional ingredients like fish sauce and dried shrimps — it tasted nothing like a real Thai Som Tum. The Chicken Wings were underwhelming — more like something you'd expect from a fast-food chain, not a Thai restaurant. Pad Thai was undercooked chewy and overly sweet, and the Jungle Curry was extremely watery with a few chewy rubbery pieces of chicken and with some frozen vegetables. Ended up skipping dessert because I felt unwell (cramps and nausea) before we’d finished the main course. Once got home, things escalated: vomiting, diarrhoea, and intense discomfort all night — classic signs of food poisoning. The only good thing was the polite server. But overall, this place is overpriced, not authentic, and potentially unsafe. Avoid at all costs

Edit N.2 We visited Rabieng for the third time and - as always - had a spotless experience! Staff was so incredibly welcoming, making us feel at home! Just felt a need to update this review to say that, once we finished our dinner, staff also gave us a stunning pair of hand-made wooden Thai chopsticks! So lovely of them! 💕I cannot recommend this restaurant more! ------ We visited for a lovely and warm Thai meal on a Monday night, around Christmas time. We had a fabulous experience from start to end and I would recommending stopping by when around Angel! Staff was absolutely gorgeous - smiling, kind, attentive! Food was a dream! We ordered some vegetable tempura, some crispy duck with pancakes, noodles and a lovely chicken curry! All dishes were nicely prepared & presented and portions massive! We enjoyed every taste of the food we had and left the restaurant with our belly full and a wonderful smile on our faces! 😊 The atmosphere was so cosy - we almost felt we were having a family dinner! Totally recommended and we'll be back very soon!

We had a very enjoyable meal at Rabieng on a Saturday lunchtime. It was very quiet - in fact we were the only people there - but we rather enjoyed our private dining experience! Service was efficient and helpful in identifying vegetarian options (anything in the 'stir fried' section can be made veggie if you ask). I had a delicious Thai iced tea, and we shared tasty fried corn cakes and vegetable tempura which included a great variety of fresh vegetables. My main of tofu with cashew nuts was delicious and a generous portion. A side of Jasmine rice was more than I needed - suitable to share between two unless you skip starters. This was our second visit to Rabieng and I would happily go there again if in the area.

TERRIBLE. We have been here a couple of times and have previously enjoyed. However, after the experience we had this evening we will never return. No Covid regulations were checked (no temp check, track and trace etc). We were placed at the most awful table in the restaurant, right next to the staff desk where 6 of them congregated and proceeded to talk amongst themselves whilst standing over our table on top of us with no social distancing. Their entire focus was distributing food to the bar next door, which took priority over their actual customers! This created a Piccadilly Circus effect with bar staff coming in and out on top of our table! We couldn’t hear ourselves speak. The food was not spectacular either. After we complained, the waitress gave us our bill and claimed they’d “taken off the service charge” to compensate - as we have visited before we know for a fact there is no service charge on the bill anyway, so you were acting like you did us a favour but in fact you were LYING. Well done Rabieng, you’ve ruined what was meant to be a special occasion and lost a loyal customer. £120 quid for a dingy little restaurant! Will go to Thai...

We ordered food at 6:45, with a delivery time confirmed for 7:45 (on both JustEat, and on the phone when we called to add a side of rice to our order). At 7:50, we rang and were told that our food was ready and waiting for the driver to pick it up. At 8:30, we rang again were told that the driver had the food. It didn't arrive until 9:20 - at least an hour and a half after it had been prepared, and two and a half hours after we'd placed the order.

We rang about 5 times in all, trying to place our order. The order arrived and was missing items. The papaya salad we'd ordered had been placed in the hot boxes in the hour and half it was waiting to be delievered, and was warm and wilted. The other food was all soggy and lukewarm. The duck spring rolls were £6 - for three spring rolls. Rabieng Thai offered to give us all free beers with our £90, 5-person order. We explicitly said that there were five of us, and they sent two.

The woman we spoke with on the phone was quite rude and unapologetic, and told us that "mistakes happen."

This was the worst experience I've ever had...
