Roasted Bean — Restaurant in London

Such a shame as I like everything about this place apart from the intolerable and extremely weird and unfriendly staff. If you want to work here peacefully like I tried, perhaps try elsewhere if you dont like your ears being constantly bombarded with the foreign staff jabbering away extremely loudly in thier foreign language. I was trying to work but no joke, the three or so members of staff just standing around at the bar kept on giggling and laughing like primary school children, not just once, not just twice, but CONSTANTLY, to the point I was actually getting annoyed, not just at the horrible noise but to the extent of thier unproffessionalism. Why act like that in clear view of customers who also are able to hear and observe? I find it extremely strange, almost offensive, weird and extremely unproffessional. Theres one woman serving at the till whos constantly giving customers dirty looks, doesnt seem to understand basic concepts of customer service or in being welcoming and polite, and constantly makes strange faces and scratches her lower leg while serving me, I dunno what else she does but I dont really need to know.

Just disappointed as I actually really like the coffee, just Im less inclined to come back because of the reasons stated above. Otherwise, it looks really...

The 1st star was for the food and the second one was for Nataliya who was very helpful, The roasted bean is very lucky to have her, very attentive, positive attitude and brilliant customer service skills. Pay Rise!!🤍🤍🤍 Or manager position 🪙🪙🪙

As a working black woman living in crystal palace for over 11 years with my 2 children under the age of 5... I do not expect to be treated as a criminal.

The man ARTISAN was absolutely attempting to embaress me with I must pay first rule as well as speaking louder when the card declined.

Not to mention the woman who was staff decided to stare at me consistently which was extremely uncomfortable.

Between them both they had no smile whatsoever and the man seems to have a racial issue as if black money isn't good enough.

I hope you both find it within to make a better difference within hospitality and business. I will not be returning again. I may just be one customer, but reputation is important and so is balancing between people labour and communication skills.

Just a few days ago I started visiting this coffee shop, in the Crystal Palace Triangle. I don't usually change coffee shops because where I like coffee is where I stay, like the coffee shop on the corner of my house now on vacation. At Roasted Beans the service is exceptional, they are very friendly. It should be noted that they are not friendly in the personal way to customers but as if we were neighbors or family visiting their house. The first day I stopped by here I ordered a Malchiato and I fell in love. Today I visited again and this time I ordered a pastel de nata, it was very fresh and well filled with cream, not just the surface like in other coffee shops and my coffee, absolutely exquisite although each time it is prepared by someone different the coffee is the same, the staff definitely knows how to do it.
