Tofu East Asian Canteen — Restaurant in London

Disgraceful Managment, i have been going to Tofu for a while now and i always order the same meal to go. For once i decided to sit in with a friend. She mentioned she wanted a drink (a bottle of coke) and i needed one too so i went to the local corner shop to get one, members of staff saw me come in with the drink and said nothing. I then asked for the bill and they added on a Corkage charge. I have never heard of this before and proceeded to ask what it is and why i have to pay it. The manager then came over to our table in a very rude and aggressive manner as i sat in my seat insisting that we must pay the charge. He also pointed out on the menu the information on the charge which referred soley to alcohol including wine and beer, however no where on the menu did the charge apply to soft drinks or water. I told him he does not need to speak to me in such manner and i proceeded to put him in his place, he finally gave up and dismissed the issue. I find this behaviour disgusting. As the only two customers left in the resturant he clearly felt he could speak to us in such a degrading manner as there was no one around to witness it. Although i did not pay the Corkage charge the way he handled the matter was disgusting and i will not be dinning there again....

AWFUL! Ordered a takeout from this restaurant tonight First time ordering takeaway here and The food was absolutely disappointing cold and disgusting we couldn’t even eat it. The crispy duck was burnt and the noodles were flavourless and burnt . The whole food has gone in the bin! Please don’t waste your time and save your money And go elsewhere

Mediocre flavourless food. Sorry but Not one bit of the meal was good. The noodles were flavourless we ordered Duck lettuce wraps and House special rice noodles with chicken and duck squid and king prawns , the chicken came with a skin on it . it was burnt and tasteless seems like they gave us bottom of the pot we where left angry and hungry that's not on at all, I was so looking forward in trying the food. Not impressed.

Check the order receipt we ordered via Deliveroo and the order came quite quick so I don’t think it was the driver fault that the food came cold the food was just not good. Tofu management can send me a message if you wish to discuss...

We order for takeaway as they didn’t allow dogs, they told us it will take 10 min for a salt and pepper tofu and veg black bean sauce. After 10 min we went back and the place was pack and the staff was running up and down, non stop. 35min later since we order and being starving, the staff didn’t apologised or inform us about the delay. I was about to ask for the money back and go home to cook our food went the staff 35min later gave us the food, again no apology. If they know they are busy, they should inform customer that is going to take over 30min, and I would had not choose to order. When we finally have our food EVERYTHING was lacking of flavour, the tofu was no fresh and has the texture of being reheated, they make us aware that the black bean sauce was a bit spicy, I don’t know where? I don’t like super spicy food but non of what we order had any pinch of spicy, to the point I even eat the “chilli’s” of salt and pepper that tasted just like tiny peppers.
