Small family run Mexican restaurant. To date... This is probably one of the best Mexican restaurants I've tried in London currently. With traditional dishes famous across Mexico. Tacos Al pastor, Pollo Mole & floutas.... and few other different dishes which will leave Mexicans and Americans feeling homesick... This place is definitely not about doing chains style Nachos, tacos, burritos and quesadillas. If that is what you're after, don't bother going. You will be disappointed. This is about authentic traditional dishes made at home and for celebration. I also had a really decent margarita with a good kick, followed by a tall cold glass of Modelo Michelada. This is a small restaurant. It is quickly becoming very popular with local people. In fact I really do think I should not even be writing about it, because if I ever need to eat there, I won't be able to find a seat if it gets too popular. I suggest you phone ahead and make a reservation to avoid...

VERY HIGH PRICES, LOW QUALITY OF SERVICE AND SMALL PORTIONS. I placed an order last Saturday (May 21) at 3:30 pm and the truth is that I was not satisfied at all. The dough of one of the cheese empanadas had an embedded hair, I ordered food for two and it was the following: 3 empanadas 2 cachapas and 2 portions of tequenos and they sent just one small guasacaca sauce but the worst thing was the portion of the cake that seemed like half of a normal portion, I've been to eat there once and they gave me a much bigger portion as it should be since a slice of that cake is sold for £4.95. Definetely would...

Was really impressed with this small Venezuelan cafe in Crystal Palace. You could smell the great cooking from outside and it didn't disappoint. I tried the Venezuelan coffee with natural sugar cane...Guarayo. Really tasty and ordered Empanadas selection (cheese, chicken and beef). Really delicious and the sauces to accompany were amazing. It had a real authentic feel to the cafe and the server (I assume owns the place) was excellent with his service. Really relaxed and descriptive about what was on menu and was really flexible when I forgot my bank card. They also offer a number of items in frozen form to take home to cook. I have walked past this many times and wish I had gone in sooner. I will be back. Tip:. Bring cash if planning to...

I haven't been able to stop by since last year but this is my all-time favorite restaurant in the London area and probably anywhere! I stumbled across this place in 2017 –it was my first time trying Venezuelan food and I've been obsessed ever since. The family is great and I have always enjoyed every meal here. I recommend the arepas of course, especially the one with beef and cheese. The empanadas are all amazing, as are the sauces on the side. I normally make my own meal with empanadas and a side of black beans. The torta de tres leches is my favorite dessert ever!! I'm not exaggerating when I say that I plan trips from California to London just to stop at this restaurant :)

Me and my partner stumbled across this amazing Mexican and Venezuelan restaurant and had the most amazing meal. Food was bursting with flavours - special mention to the tajadas - fried plantain with 2 incredible dipping sauces, a whole new flavour I’d never had. The staff were attentive and friendly and the owner spoke to us about how they started, as well as the preparation they put into all the food with both her and her husband the chef being from Mexico. She spoke with passion about the food, especially the traditional, Mole which they do from scratch. We’ll be back to try the rest of the menu! Portions are super generous, we left very full and very smiley!

If feels like being in a private Venezuelan kitchen. Hearty food, perfect-sized portions, the owner, pregnant in October, advising on what's best for you according to your likings and hunger not trying to sell you the most expensive dish. All of that makes you believe that you are actually in her house, waiting for her to show off her mother country cuisine. Food is slow-cooked, no added sugars, the plantain is delicious so is the wet corn wrap in the pic below (with 3 kinds of meat in it). I will go again and try some other dishes. Venezuelan cuisine is different from the European one and this place makes you want to come back to experience more.
