I really want to rate this place higher as the food and interior design in the restaurant was great, however our experience there was not good at all, in fact, it was terrible.
We had reserved a table for 7:15pm (for four people), we arrived and our table was not ready so we had to wait another 10 minutes - we weren’t upset about this and usually wouldn’t complain about an extra 10 minute wait but this was just the beginning of our bad service…
We sat down, it took about 15 minutes to have our drink order taken. Our drinks then took a while to make, so another waiter took our food order. He didn’t greet us, say how are you or anything, just silently took out his pen and paper. He didn’t know about the different dishes when we had a couple questions. Two of us had ordered dishes that turned out to be unavailable so we had to quickly order something else.
Our four dishes came out and 2 out of 4 were wrong. My friend is a vegetarian and they came out with a random meat dish, so we sent it back and then they came out with another random meat dish, and again we said this is incorrect. Then it took another 10 minutes to bring out the correct dish - meanwhile all our other dishes were getting cold. My dish had a small mistake, I had ordered the prawn pad Thai and they gave me chicken but at this rate I didn’t want to send it back as the mistake would have taken too long to rectify and it was still tasty.
Whilst this was all happening, not once did our waiter come over and apologise, it was all very strange. Then he just ignored us for the rest of the meal and we had to keep calling him over when we needed boxes and our bill.
The manager did come over eventually and apologise and gave us some discount however they still added the service charge onto our bill which we felt was very cheeky given our service was non existent. We asked for it to be taken off.
I would not come to this establishment again, save your money and...

Read morethe entire place was generally clean and tidy. i appreciated how they made sure my peanut allergy was catered to and the staff were generally friendly and attentive but in my opinion it was nothing more than the bare minimum. for drinks, i just drank tap water (they served the water with mint and other herbs which could be a nice touch but i personally thought it wasn’t pleasant at all) and my friends got the thai milk tea and coffee - my friend really enjoyed the tea and coffee was good too. for the starters, we got the prawn crackers, spring rolls and sweet corn fritters. id pass on the prawn crackers as they were quite bland and just tasted like they came out a packet (they probably were). the spring rolls were good and the fritters would have been really good had they not been burnt… because of this, they were hard to eat even with cutlery but the flavours were there. for mains, we got the chicken pineapple curry, rice and tofu drunken noodles. i didn’t like how the rice noodles were all broken up because noodles are meant to be long and the flavours definitely need some alteration because it tasted too sweet and barely even spicy despite being labelled with 3 chillis on the menu. the portion sizes were very small in comparison to their prices. i also thought it was quite cheeky that the curry does not come with rice and instead is charged extra as a side.
i would not be rushing back here but i didn’t have a terrible experience… the food was just fine but definitely not amazing 🤷🏻♀️ it’s a good thing they are branching out thai food to other parts of the UK but there are definitely more authentic (and probably better value) thai...
