An excellent café in Dagenham, Essex. Serving a full menu including all day breakfast. The place is absolutely pristinely clean and tidy, kitchen, dining room and toilet. One of few English Cafes you visit and don’t leave smelling of smokey bacon fat. The food was very good quality (the only criticism would be the sausage which was typical cafe type) the rest of the ingredients were superior quality to other cafes. Read moreOn our way back home to Norfolk from IKEA we popped down to Dagenham to revisit the area we lived for a few years 20+ yrs ago and was driving down Broad St hunting for somewhere to grab a sandwich and coffee for the journey home and popped in here to grab them. Best decision we made, the lady was lovely and very attentive and made the best ham salad sandwich I've had in a while and a lovely cup of tea, my wife assures me her sandwich and coffee were equally as good. Read moreI had Roast chicken (leg) + veg thoroughly enjoyed it with a black coffee. Didn't have to wait long either. Staff very attentive. Also, the first time ever I've been in a café and was given a proper knife which cut beautifully it was a delight. Sick to death of being given a blunt knife in the past. I usually carry my own but didn't need to get them out for the first time ever. Next time I'm in Dagenham I won't go anywhere else other than Rosie...
