Where do I start! I was waiting on the queue for my food and I came across a lady who was also waiting for food and when she asked where her food was the owner came out of the kitchen and was very racist towards the lady and said to her, âwhat language are you speaking I donât understand youâ even that her English was very understandable. He was very rude to her and then his partner came out of the kitchen and then pushed the lady who was waiting for her food and told her to get out of the shop. Over all the customer service was very poor and the food was avarage. When I tried to calm the owner down he told me that I should mind my own business and also said to me that he doesnât shout even that he was very loud and rood. I highly donât recommend to anyone to waist their money and get treated really badly in this cafe. I am still in a shock when I am writing this review. The owner of the premises must change his attitude towards his customers otherwise he wonât have customers and staff as well. And also I saw an incident in the kitchen where he got hold of a receipt from his employee and pushed her away and at the moment he made the food she was preparing fall on the ground. He was very rude and physical with the staff. I hope the lady in the kitchen who works for him is okay! Please who every is going there think twice! I wouldnât...
Read moreNever visit! Visited earlier today with my 2 year old daughter and diabetic wife. My wife has type-2 diabetes and due to the dietary needs, she always prepares and carries her own food to eat. We wanted to have lunch and visited this place. I ordered food amounting to £11 to eat in and we occupied a table at the place. My wife started eating her self-preoared food. I had never imagined it would be a problem as we have done this at various restaurants across the UK and staff have always been accommodative due to her special dietary needs.
The owner of the cafe walked across and asked her to stop eating in a very rough manner. I tried explaining her situation of needing special diet and that I had ordered food myself and waiting for the order. He was extremely rude and not even ready to listen!
I would have understood if the restaurant was full or near full and we were causing inconvenience. But it was fairly empty and there were plenty of tables free as most customers seemed to be taking away their orders.
We felt very bad and decided to just leave the place immediately. I didn't even eat the food I had ordered.
Hope the owner learns some manners and to be considerate to people with special needs. He seemed to not cary anything about people and just making money! Will never visit the place and ask...
Read morevery expensive not a cheap eat if you have a family . I had a baguette with ham and cucumber it was ÂŁ6. My friend also ordered same. When it came the baguettes were really small with hardly much filling . Small in length and width rip off. We had a melted cheese toastie, which was standard and kids chicken nuggets and chips . Small portion again around ÂŁ7. Only saving grace with these were the chicken nuggets were actually nice Thick pieces of chicken and not that processed stuff. It quickly got very busy in there so lucky we went in before lunch rush . It did get noisy in there and just be mindful of the different types of groups and people you see in there . It was clean, we didnât use the condiments. Walking around the area was nice and tidy . The water wasnât clean looked quite green Later our kids did have a little paddle in it . The train again is a rip off too one way ÂŁ3.80 for adults and ÂŁ1.80 kids., or return ÂŁ5.00 per adults and something like ÂŁ3.50kids so once again if you spent and the cafe and then take your kids on the ride youâll have expensive day out. I didnât take pics of the food as not worth it...
