Feb '24 update: Still the same cheery welcome and range of food for those in need of a hearty meal or a quick snack. Feb '23 update: Still thriving despite an intermittently freezing then very wet December and January. Vince and his team have persisted through the Covid Lockdowns and emerged the other side with a BBQ set up and more seating on the terrace and weather permitting the grass. Support a local business. Tucked away round the back of the rebuilt Kings College pavillion. Everywhere looks better in the Summer & today the paving area was a real suntrap. I actually want to share a review of this place beyond the food. On Sunday I was helping a few friends for their marathon training. I believe the owner, or at least someone who worked in the cafe, was just watching us cheering us on towards the end of our laps, constantly giving us encouragement everytime we went past. This was just a beautiful example of community for me. Guys get out there and support your own local businesses because there are some lovely folks out there in our community!
