Sea Shell Fish Bar — Restaurant in London

Been recommended this fish bar for a while now and thought I'd visit since I was driving past it.

I met two gentlemen who greeted me and I gave my order. I ordered 1 Cod and 1 Haddock with chips. Everything was made on the spot and taken out fresh from the fryer. Chips and fish were wrapped up separately rather than together which I support as you normally get more chips when wrapped up separately with the fish.

Fish was really nice with a nice golden, crispy and light batter. Chips were also great with a nice crispy skin and fluffy center. I was surprised how little oil was left in the fish and chips compared to other fish bars which are soaked in oil and stuck to the wrapping.

This will be my first Google review and it’s a pleasure that this place will be who I write one for. First of all, the food is 10/10. The people who work there are so lovely. Not just with me, but I have never been inside and there were other customers that didn’t have a great rapport with them too. When ever I call to collect they are lovely and happy to hold some chicken for me lol. If I ever became famous and someone asked me to name my top 10 food spots, this would be one of them! Ps if you guys ever leave, imma need at least 4 weeks notice so I can process...

Been coming here for many years. The service is top notch every time with friendly, polite and professional staff.

For most of that time I can easily say they do the all time best fish and chips you could undoubtedly get anywhere. The chips are always freshly fried, crispy on the outside but soft and tasty.

Easily gets 5 stars from me, also have to mention the chicken burger is...
