Souvlike It — Restaurant in London

I am really dissapointed to have to give a one star review overall for this establishment. I always review not on mistakes, but on how an establishment handles mistakes.

My grown up children have been ordering from Souvlike It for a long time. I never have. On Sat 3rd Feb my eldest son was at my house and wanted to order as he now lives in Stevenage so cannot very often. I decided to try the spinach and cheese mini rolls.

When the order was delivered the spinach and chees mini rolls were not included. My son called and a lady said she could we come and collect (no, because negates the point of a delivery), was told they couldn't refund over the telephone. As I was going to be in Barnet on Monday I said I would just pop in and the lady said it was fine.

My son had ordered the cheese and spinach pie so gave me that instead. It was delicious, but halfway through there was a tiny piece of something like a very think twig.

I visited the shop today to get the refund for the missing mini rolls and this is where everything went wrong. I was basically shouted at by a greek shorted haired blonde lady and told that the mini rolls where 100 per cent delivered to my house (they 100 per cent were not), and I had to ask her not to shout at me. It was a pretty horrible experience which means that they have lost custom from me. Eventually this lady gave me a refund in 50 pence pieces!! Spiteful.

I cannot fault their food (the thing I found was a one off I am sure because it has never happened to my kids, and I actually would have ordered it again because it was delicious, well the half I ate. However, having experienced such customer service I will never order from them again, and neither will my children.

And they can't be 100 per cent sure they get their orders right as my son ordered from them last week and he received something extra, some cheese and ham thing, which was no doubt a mistake and I suspect someone else didn't get everything that...

I was brought up in a Cypriot household, so I know good Greek food when I taste it—and I can honestly say Greek Cruisin’ Souvlikeit absolutely delivered. I visited for the first time yesterday and was blown away.

The place itself is quiet, clean, and has a really peaceful vibe. The staff were so friendly and welcoming the hospitality was spot on from the moment I walked in.

Now the food… amazing! The lamb and pork were cooked perfectly, full of flavour and so tender. The tzatziki and houmous were clearly homemade, super fresh, and had that authentic taste I grew up with. Even the quality of the olive oil stood out—rich, smooth, and top-notch.

It’s rare to find somewhere that gets every detail right, but they’ve nailed it here. Great prices too, which makes it even better.
