Generally the service in this branch is awful. I have seen alot of complaints reiterating this and it appears management are not doing anything about it.
Today I ordered a coffee via an app to be delivered to my house. The store made an error and sent me an iced version of the coffee when I ordered a hot coffee. I called the store, they said there is nothing i can do about it, my option is to either to drive over a mile down to the store to get the correct drink or request a refund on the app and go without. I explained to the staff member that althought it may not have been her personally, the whole error was ridiculous and an inconvenience to me. I was in the middle of working and it wasnt ideal for me to drive down to pick up a coffee, i ordered it for a delivery for a reason. The lady I believe her name is Tessy, or Shessy, or something similar proceeded to shout at me “ Excuse me! Just because your order was wrong you dont get to be rude to me! Its not my problem! “ I couldnt believe it to be honest. Then she hung up. I called back and the manager picked up who was much nicer, i asked her for the staff memebers name that I just spoke with. She asked me not to make a complaint that If i could please come down to the store to resolve the matter and it will be sorted. I just don’t understand why they expect me to drive down and fix a mistake that wasnt mine. I just wanted my coffee so i coiuld continue with my work. I contacted deliveroo who kindly gave me enough credit to order a new coffee and cover the small order fee. So i didnt go down to the coffee shop. The staff reallly need retraining in this shop. Read morestaff always look miserable but that’s besides the point. please STOP filling up beverages half way if I ask for no ice. if you research, this is not Starbucks policy. If a customer asks for no ice, the drink is to still be filled all the way with no ice. these drinks are pricy enough as it is let alone having them diluted. Some of us also order to keep in fridges and use for another day, ice would water this down. how can I go through the drive thru, and get a half filled £5 drink? baristas, you are serving as if the materials come out of your wages. So please stop doing this, next time you do this I will be asking for a manager. I will also keep sending my drink back so you can fill it to the top. Thank you. Read moreI have come to this drive through and 99% of the time. The service isn't great and my orders are never perfect somethingis either missing or the drink isn't made well. On Sunday 24th April I was making my order and when I was in the middle of asking the operator questions so the drink can be made to my liking she didn't respond me I waited and even said hello so I drove round and they had to make the adjustments which took longer and the only reason I am giving 2 star is because the actual drink tasted nice drink and wasn't overloaded with ice like the other times I have been there. The only reason I don't stop using this facility it's the closest drive thru however I definitely prefer Costa drive thru in Blackheath/Deptford as the staff knows how to make drink listen and give great...
