Phoned back twice today to return a missed call I received at 10.22am from this Cafes number direct to my personal mobile. Both times I've been told that I've not received a call and upon explaining that I in fact have, as that's exactly how I have returned the call, have been treat like I'm trying to be a wind up. Second call a few moments ago saw the gent simply Slam the phone down on me after a brief exchane of words. Now, I appreciate this may have been a mis-dial, but don't tell me a phone call was never placed to me when it absolutely was (see attached screenshot) I was only enquiring as to why I had been called. If the line is for Incoming call only as you stated on the brief second call, then how do I have proof of a missed call to me from ypur business? Perhaps one of your staff accidentally dialed out. I dont know...but don't call me a liar, cheers.

Food is ok, really like their bread rolls, but this cafe is not good value. The £4.80 breakfast baguette consists of one sausage, one egg, tomato and one rasher of bacon. I said I didn’t want tomato but they still charged £4.80. You can the same deal in a roll for £3.80, doesn’t make sense. All the sandwiches are the same, the fillings don’t match the prices. The picture is a sandwich, one sausage sliced into four pieces... very skimpy. Came another time and decided to eat inside, the breakfast costs £9.50 which is punchy to say the least, especially disappointed that I had to pay for an extra sausage. I didn’t eat the bubble as it was not cooked through, nothing worse than undercooked potato. Price way too high for a greasy spoon cafe.

Visited here while my car was getting MOT nearby. Food was good, decent value for money, and it was warm; just what I needed while waiting for my car. The staff are very friendly, and down to earth, especially the very kind lady serving who saw I was unwell and coughing a bit, and got me a (free) glass of water, then topped it up later, without asking. Kindness goes a long way, as does a smile and unpretentious, caring, smiling customer service, and I will definitely be returning when back...
