Station Cafe & Restaurant — Restaurant in London

Stopped in about half 3, and still doing all food on the menu (an all day breakfast menu available), so loads of choice. Very good prices (I had two egg, two sausages, a bacon slice, lots of toast, beans, a hash brown and mushrooms for £7.50). Very quick service (though no-one else in when I arrived), and a lovely smiling welcome from the owner (didn't catch his name!). Several other customers came in after, and also got a good welcome - one group with not much English were treated with plenty patience and clarity which was nice to listen in on). Food is good, not spectacular (I wonder what some people expect these days? Be very pleased with a nice, independent local classic greasy spoon still offering a decent standard of food at a very good price and still in business!). If you're in the area, just pop in, even just for a coffee (which was again perfectly decent, though I'm not some offee obsessed...

This cafe is not nice at all there vegetable samosa gave me diarrhoea twice the glass with the food has so many crumbs and plate stains like it hasn't been cleaned for months. The ketcup bottles are sticky no salt and pepper on the tables. The plastic table clothes are the same one's in the review 5 year's ago and the general customer service is poor. If the front looks like that god knows what the kitchen...

Absolutely rotten. I went in to get food but the smell and the state of the place was so disgusting I got a chocolate bar instead.
