EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE, AMAZING FOOD, PERFECT AMBIANCE FOR AMAZING PRICES!!!! I don't know where to start I have so much to say!! I was planning a small engagement dinner which was so last minute and every other place was not able to meet my needs until my mother-in-law recommended this place because she said the girls were so nice and the food was amazing so I called the restaurants and went in to plan with them. When I met Hadiya I knew this was going to be the place for me. This beautiful young lady was extremely attentive and considerate and made me fall in love with her, her family and the restaurant. Keeping in mind I came in on a Friday and my dinner was Saturday the next day, meaning it was REALLY last minute nonetheless the girls (Hadiya, Sadiya, Sanam) stayed until 4 in the morning decorating the restaurant to make it the most perfect venue for my engagement. The amount of creativity these girls have is unimaginable, The girls paid close attention to every detail to create a stunning night, they even went as far as buying flowers to make me the cutest bouquet. The whole family went above and beyond for us. They cared for us as if we were a part of their own family, the father made the most amazing Afghan food I have ever tried, while the girls ran the place like professionals! They attended to every single one of our needs and not once did any of my or my guest's requests go unnoticed. My mother is probably the fussiest and hard-to-please woman ever, but the way that she spoke about this food surprised me she could not stop talking about how amazing the food was! We all tasted how beautiful and fresh the meat was it had the perfect texture not chewy but perfect, everything else was seasoned to perfection and the Kabili rice was to die for!! I'm so grateful to have met this family and hosted my engagement with them, I truly believe that they were sent to me by God because everything was too good to be true! If you just want to get a quick takeaway this place is for you! If you want to go on a date this place is for you! If you are looking for a small venue to host a dinner with people who genuinely care about service and quality of food, with people who will go above and beyond for you THIS PLACE IS DEFINITELY FOR YOU!!

Service & Hospitality

Our waiter was exceptionally courteous, attentive without being intrusive, and genuinely welcoming. The hospitality extended well beyond expectations: we were offered a complimentary soup, a freshly baked bread that would ordinarily be priced at approximately £5, and a crisp salad as starters. At the close of the meal, we were even served complimentary tea. These gestures were not perfunctory; they were sincere, timely, and emblematic of a team that takes pride in guest care.

Cuisine & Portions

The portions are remarkably generous—one main was easily sufficient for two diners. Dishes arrived promptly and at the correct temperature, with well-balanced seasoning and consistently high product quality. It is rare to encounter servings this substantial without any compromise on flavor, texture, or presentation, yet Yadegar achieves precisely that.

Cleanliness & Atmosphere

The premises are spotless. Dining area, tableware, and visible service stations were immaculate; the decor is modern, tasteful, and well maintained. The overall ambiance is calm and comfortable, supporting both casual and more formal dining without pretension.

Value

Considering the quality of ingredients, the portion sizes, and the unexpected but much-appreciated complimentary items, the value proposition is outstanding. Few restaurants in London manage to combine generosity, professionalism, and culinary execution at this level.

A lovely restaurant with a great lay out. It was our first time visiting and our server Abdul Basit was extremely polite and helpful. He recommended the shared platter to us which came with a variety of grilled foods, rice, chips and Afghani bread. It was delicious and definitely enough for two adults and two children. We were very happy with the service we received and the friendliness of our server. We were hoping for a cup of tea, however the tea was only available per teapot. We had requested a single cup but were told they didn't do that. Maybe something to consider especially if not all dining want tea. When completing our meal I asked to pay. Unfortunately this is the part that left us a little disappointed. Our server brought the card machine but no bill outlining the individual items and amounts. We paid anyway and asked for the receipt so we could see. Only checking the receipt after leaving we noticed the addition of a service charge and a tip. No complaints about the service charge, however we were not asked at the time of payment if we wanted to leave a tip, surely that's up to the ones paying. An £8 something tip was added to the bill without our knowledge. To be honest if we were asked about a tip we probably would have given one as we appreciated the time and lovely service of our server, it was the fact an amount was added without our knowing on top of the service charge. This sort of placed a dampener on the whole experience to be honest. My mother was left a little upset, it was her treat for my young daughter. Overall great food!! Would recommend the food, lovely...
