Even though we are a local couple, it was only our second visit here and it’s one of those places whereby I thought - why did I leave it for so long???
The first thing that struck us on entering was the warm reception and welcome we received on arrival from the guy behind the counter. Smooth FM was playing and this also added a lovely vibe to the energy of this eatery. The atmosphere was comfortable and warm. We ordered Eggs Benedict - one Florentine, one Royal. The same guy who greeted us warmly took the order and was very precise with how we wanted our food to be cooked - you could see the attention to detail and care that he was giving us. We were not disappointed when the food and cappuccinos arrived. I stumbled across this cafe by chance when travelling by and was astounded by a perfect cafe experience out-of-the-blue.
Friendly, family atmosphere. Staff obviously had a very good relationship with their regulars, and as soon as I walked in through the door I could feel that.
Beautiful decoration.For the interior, the cutlery choice, and even the festive jumpers worn by the staff.
Beautifully presented and delicious food with generous servings and loving preparation.
Perfect temperature inside (it is the winter and it was nice and cozy).
Moreover, genuine communication with staff members, who were very friendly (and funny!).
I walked out with a smile on my face and a good mood for the rest of the afternoon.

We were in the area and decided to pop in for some breakfast. The man serving us was very welcoming and directed me and my wife, who wears a niqab to a seat where she can eat comfortably. He went through the halal options (confirmed halal food is made on separate pans) and was very friendly. The food was very good. We got halal breakfast and vanilla iced latte. Gave 3 star for the atmosphere because there was music (albeit playing quietly) in the background, which I'm not a big fan of, but im sure they would have turned it off if I'd asked.
