County Arms — Restaurant in London

Nice food and bar staff, however ordered some £10 worth drinks through the app to be told they didn't have them (this is after waiting about 20 minutes) and seemed confused about it. Was then offered cheaper replacements, which I refused. Manager informed me it would be refunded.

Went up to the bar a while later querying how exactly they were planning on refunding an app order. Was told words to the effect of 'yeah you'll be refunded'.

Fast forward a couple weeks, and of course, I have not. Had to take time out of my day at work to call up my payment provider and do a chargeback. Other pubs have refunded me on the same day.

3 stars simply because it is a nice pub and the other staff are nice, just a poor experience. I shouldn't have to spend my time chasing my own money back for the pub's error.

OMG can't believe how bad this pub has got the 2 girls that was working tonight was so rude they should not be working in the hospitality industry at all... they was making rude comments about customer's both walked off the bar because they thought it was funny to both go glass collecting & leave us standing there when we tried to get a drink...when asked a question replied with a grunt very rude!!..served drinks in dirty glasses.... they seem to care more about jumping around behind the bar trying to touch the ceiling then serving customer's...terrible staff tonight bringing the place down I won't be going back to be treated like that again it was Disgusting in so many ways!! No wonder the pub had hardly anyone in there!! They would probably be better suited to working in the brass house round the corner then...

Nice pub and really enjoyed our 1st drink but staff need to get consistent about I.D. My daughter turned 18 this week and wanted to take dad out for a few drinks. 1st friendly staff member accepted my daughters Citizen I.d card as proof of age however when my daughter went to order a 2nd round another refused it saying Green King only accept a valid driving licence/passport or military I.D and not wanting to cause a fuss as my daughter has anxiety issues we left.

Green Kings website does say they accept the Citizen I.D card as a valid proof of age and it's accepted everywhere else she had used it. Some staff training may be a good idea.

Probably never going back, which is a shame as it was a nice...
