Shocking customer service..I took my family Saturday evening for dinner, we were really excited to see a new addition of Halal restaurant in the neighbourhood but had the worst experience, as soon as we walked we were approached by two very discourteous ladies who starting shouting we cant take your order, we cant take your order...... instead of hello or welcome etc. we found this sort of attitude very rude and decided to walk out but then met with another gentleman who started offering us table. when the ladies heard they came running again with same attitude and saying you have to wait 30-40 mins and we cant take your order...it was really embarrassing for us as everyone was looking at us. we were six people standing there. the gentleman with beard was really polite and helpful, he insisted that we ignore his colleagues and he will serve us and offered us place to sit...we sat for quite some time after which the order was taken and we we had food it was bit hard and over cooked. i would give food better rating but the customer service was worst. when i asked the lady who is your manager she replied i am the manger and could not care less despite my reminding her of good customer service. i had my neighbour family sitting near by who later shared their unhappiness with...

I'm not a fake account created just to give 5 stars. I'm a real customer. And I want to share my experience. Portions are small, especially lamp kuzy is extremely small portion. It's not delicious. They don't serve appetizers. Staff, welcome, hello, doesn't say goodbye, irrelevant. Soup was too watery. Service was late and bad. We paid 20 pounds per person and even my 9-year-old child left the table hungry. I will not visit again to avoid wasting my money. We go to Iraqi restaurants on Edwardge Road and Kingston. The portions of all the main menus of the restaurants there are at least twice as large as this restaurant. They also offer soup, hummus, okra, eggplant with yoghurt and salad dressing, pickles, and tea and baklava appetizers at the end of the meal for free with every menu. Even with only appetizers, one's stomach is full. All of the appetizers are almost as much as one serving. All of them were delicious. Besides, the prices of the main menu are also cheap. We came to this restaurant because it was the same. But it turned out to be...

Ate here last night to try it out. Ordered the mix grill for eat in. food arrived but was not hot and didn't seem like it was cooked on coal. the kofta kebab was not firm and would fall apart when eating and turn back into mince was not good quality at all. the lamb tikka was not charred and had absolutely no flavour plus no sauces were provided to enhance flavour. the chicken tikka was a little better but still not of good quality and lacked flavour. I thought to try this place as it was very local to me. I definitely would not come back here again and glad I finally tried it for myself. if you want to waste your money on microwaved warm food without flavour then please go here. it looks good as a store but the quality is bad. service received was good just very very disappointed with the actual meal. any kebab shop will provide you with a more flavourful experience I suggest anyone wanting to try this place to go to Aroma down the...

Went to dine in. The waitress was super friendly and really looked after us.we got served complimentary soup which was delicious. I had a mixed grill - Chicken and Adana. I would like to be constructive in my reviews when something wasn't right but this was by far the worst mixed grill I ever had. I have a feeling that they precooked the chicken and lamb on charcoal but then reheat it in a deep fat fryer when ordered. 100% it was not cooked on the charcoal grill when ordered. This is totally unacceptable for a place like this. The lamb kebab was a terrible consistency and devoid of any taste. I did speak to the waitress afterwards and she assured me that nothing is deep fried. Unfortunately, this time I don't believe her. I would not recommend this place. Instead got to Sofreh or Aroma...much better quality food all round. I hope they take the feedback on board and make some changes.

On Monday we visited Sumer for the first time since it was recommended to me. The restaurant has a stunning and unique decor running throughout. It has a wide variety of authentic Kurdish food on the menu to choose from and something for everyone. The lentil soup was very tasty and fresh... The freshly wood oven bread made was amazing The main Shawarma mixed on a plate was not bad but also not as good as I expected. It was served on a beautiful plate but I expected a little more. There were 3 waitresses who served us throughout our time there. one whom was very hard working and genuine who served us the complimentary soup whereas the other two waitresses seemed slightly fake and as though they were acting. Nonetheless I would visit again if I were within the area and I would try something else on their menu.

Tasty new addition to the local high-street. Newly refurbished in a marble and luxe design. We visited as a party of five, including two vegetarians. We ordered the selection of cold starters to share. The dips were flavourful and rich. The bread is made to order in the oven they have onsite, lovely texture and chew to the crumb. The lentil soup was warming and spiced nicely. There is limited choice for vegetarians mains, both had the falafel wrap which was excellent. The sea bass, lamp chops and lamb kebab were cooked and seasoned well. Service was busy and the servers seems a little flustered but I am sure they will adapt to the flow of service with experience. There is a takeaway section at the front which was very busy if you don’t have time to sit in.
