Im sorry I have to write this review but honestly, I don’t understand how a licensed restaurant cannot have a consistent recipe for the items they sell. I ordered from this place as I was staying with my friend and she got food from this place which looked so good and tasted good as well so I decided to order myself the next day, food was very good on my first order but after that, just bad every single time. After that first time I decided to place a second order, which I placed specifically because I was craving some peppered prawns, well guess what, after almost 2 hours of waiting, I finally get my order just to find out that they forgot my PRAWNS!! I was so upset so decided to call them and if there’s one good thing I can say about this place is that the customer service is 10/10 but they have so many things to improve, anyways when I called them the person who answered the phone seemed to be the manager so I explained him the situation and he said to me that they forgot to let me know that the prawns were sold out but battered prawns were also available or it was possible to issue a refund… and at the end he apersonally offered to go to the market and get me some prawns and make it fresh for me if I wanted, also he will give me a dessert for free as compensation which I accepted, after 45 min the manager himself delivered my food which I appreciated it.Guys I couldn’t be more upset, I opened my container just to find out the prawns where not the same, not “Peppered prawns” at all, just some prawn soup that had a type of noodles on it no spice whatsoever and even the prawns, you could clearly see they were not fresh, but I manage to eat them. I was completely disappointed as I spent a considerable amount of money to not even enjoy the food. Also last but not least this place need to invest on good delivery packaging, because by the time you get your food the container is almost in pieces due to not being strong enough and it getting soggy with the food juices.
Only good thing and I can 100% recommend is their apple crumble and custard, it’s absolutely to die for, other that than, sorry I won’t bother...

I placed an order on Uber eats at 1940. 2030 rolls around and I had two different drivers try to collect my meal but didn’t and cancelled because it was still being prepared. I called the restaurant to understand what was happening and I was informed he was the only person on shift. To management: please for the sake of your employees and customers, do not take uber eats orders when you are short staffed, second, just close if you can’t efficiently and effectively run your restaurant with one employee. Tonight proved it isn’t feasible and I’m sure others who experienced poor food and service today would agree.
My food was finally delivered at 2130. My uber driver actually waited 30 minutes for this order to be completed. My husband and I spoke to the restaurant multiple times and tried hard to not take our frustrations on the employee. Ultimately this is a management issue and should be addressed to never happen again especially when your local community wants to support your business. I spent £40 on a semi warm meal that did not meet my taste expectations at all unfortunately. My husband didn’t feel comfortable eating the food after the wait and back and forth. I was unable to get a refund from uber eats and feel really disappointed in what transpired.

Firstly the food tastes stale, old and dry as if it’s being reheated or left out for long. it doesn’t taste like it’s being kept in a clean or hygienic condition as it has that contaminated fridge taste. Secondly the customer service is just very poor and the staff seem to not really care. Every time I have ordered from this restaurant there is always items missing from the order they dont bother to offer an alternative. Which is a shame because i normally enjoy Caribbean and American inspired dishes. The recipes for the food are quite bland and lazy it just seems like they are going for the most cheap and convenient options. It also seems like they are not putting much effort into the training of their staff as their staff lack basic customer service skills. The service of this restaurant is poor overall, they will call request customers to cancel orders, have delivery wait times over 2 hours and allowing food to get cold. The Jamaican lady who I’m assuming does front of house is especially rude, unprofessional and seems to lack adequate training or knowledge for the job.
