Tucked away on Park Road, Teddington is a fantastic pub. There's a wide range of beers, wines, and spirits with an excellent beer garden. The food menu is extensive and reasonably priced. I tried the steak burger, which was absolutely delicious! I will be coming back to try the Sunday dinner. The Landlady is friendly and welcoming. An amazing experience@

The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. However, the roast dinner wasn’t great… the gravy is poured all over and watery. We ordered 3 roasts and had to share the veggies between us which we were confused about.. cauliflower cheese was not cheesey at all. The whole roast had zero flavour and very disappointing.

Said in Teddington for a couple of nights, and The Adelaide was recommended by my host. A lovely, welcoming pub. I had fish pie and a Kentish cider 👌🏻 Good quality food, reasonable prices, a freshly cooked. In Park Road, which is quite quiet, so I sat outside ..... and saw a horse & carriage go passed 😀

OK, so I know I'm quite generous with my marks, but The Adelaide deserves 5 stars across the board, for its fabulous food, great service, well served ales and lovely patio garden to enjoy our meal in. Four of us dined in today, three of us hitting the steak and kidney pudding from the large specials menu, one on the vege lasagne and here I have to admit to a mistake, I added side orders too. Oh my goodness, the puds were huge and all served with mash and a three vegetable side dish. Just looking at that you knew the sides were in trouble, but everything on the plates was gorgeous, fresh cooked, none of this microwave malarkey, so we couldn't leave the sides could we.... they were equally excellent. After a rest, desert had to be considered, but it was a case of 2 dishes, 4 spoons for the lovely apple & rhubarb crumble, with custard of course... no heathens in our party. So all that and a couple of drinks, all for £105, awesome value for the quality of food and service. Here I'll share a secret, my final measure of an establishment are the loos, and gentlemen, we know what we're talking about here, but these were sparkling clean, fresh looking and smelling, so rare in pubs nowadays to ensure such attention is paid to the facilties. If I could have given it 6 stars I would have, just excellent, congratulations to...

A nice traditional pub between Teddington town centre and Bushy Park. It had a nice garden and a small amount of seating outside the front too. There is a good beer selection from the Shepherd Neame stable too.

We came on a Sunday and had a roast and the Cajun chicken baguette. Both were reasonably priced and very good. The menu is very much along the lines of homely dishes. Staff seemed a bit stressed on the day, although the lady who said she was the manager was friendly. Would definitely return.

Update:

Following a more recent visit now changing to 3/5 rather than 4/5. The food was very average on the most recent visit. The meaty pie didn’t have much taste to it and it had no gravy and were told the gravy was inside the pie, with the mash on its own. The chicken madras was slightly inferior to a Spoons curry, but came in at £15.75. It was really poor value for money. That’s before 10% is added for service even if ordering at the bar. A pint and soft drink was over £10 so that was expensive too. Unfortunately all these things combined mean I won’t be hurrying back. It’s becoming overpriced and the price quality is declining.

Hopefully things improve, but not sure I’ll give it another chance in the...

Teddington's Gem! So tempted not to write this as I don't want it to get more popular.. After living in the area for a few years and driving past The Adelaide, I'd always wanted to visit as it looked jolly but never had. I visited today (Sunday 11th October) for the first time for a drink and have been kicking myself for not visiting before. We were served by two lovely ladies and a gentleman who provided the best and friendliest, unpretentious and welcoming service I have had since living in London (I am originally from Devon so pubs are a big thing!) Fab atmosphere, great quality and price alcohol plus very clean and meticulous on covid safety even providing my partner with a designated smoking table and ash tray despite us sitting inside. They really go the extra mile. The safest haven in these times. Lovely garden and cosy instead, the perfect all season pub. The food and roasts look amazing!...
