A delightful, cosy gem just off Teddington Broad Street. From the moment we were greeted with smiles at the door until we left, the service was friendly and very quick. The chef/owner has put together an incredible assortment of dishes. There is a good range of standard izakaya small plates, a lot of main's and lots of choices of sushi and sashimi.
Great selection of sakes and Japanese spirits, wine and the best part, Asahi Super Dry on tap.
The four of us opted for lots of small plates so we could sample as many as possible. Tempura was very crispy and not oily, sushi was very fresh. Stars of the evening was the salmon tataki and the yakitori. The yakitori was perfectly char grilled with just the right amount of sauce. Even though these are small plates, we found the servings generous.
Looking forward to coming back and sitting at one of their tables out front to enjoy more Asahi draft and yakitori.
This place is definitely worth a try for drinks and snacks or full dining. Reservations...
Read moreWe had an early dinner here. Iâve lived in the area for years but never tried this restaurant. When I walked in I was super excited it looked beautiful. Unfortunately the service really lets this place down. The food was very tasty, but the staff are lacking proper management, they are all very young and there is no senior waiter. They spent the whole evening chatting behind the bar not asking if we wanted more drinks, how the food was, or clearing plates without us promoting them to, aside from taking our order they totally ignored us. it gradually really irritated me because it could be a lovely restaurant if not for the poor service. Again, theyâre young, they need proper management and training. So I give it 4 stars because I donât want to drag the rating down but I also want to give a hint to management to sort the service out. Also, the music is awful and not...

My family and I went there at the dinner time. When we were served second around of the drink and food, the waiter told us that we got 7 mins to finish everything and leave. The reason was that there were some other customers waiting for our table.
I understand that the restaurant has time slot and business to do. However, it is unfair to take our second order without reminding us the time. We wouldnât order the extra food or drink if I knew we only got 7 mins left for the table.
The situation was a great shock for me to react, so we left without saying anything. It is wrong for a restaurant to kick the customer out like that.
The core of a restaurant is its service: though its sushi and sake is nice, I have to give one star to the restaurant, cause its...
