A delightful tapas place in the outskirts of London at Teddington. From the moment you step inside, the warm, inviting atmosphere makes you feel the vibe. The ambient lighting, rustic decor, and lively yet intimate vibe set the stage for a memorable dining experience.

Location & Ambiance: Bar Estilo perfectly balances a cozy and vibrant environment. The furniture, walls and the overall setting creates an authentic and relaxing setting. The ambiance of this place would be spot on for a family dinner, a casual night out with friends or a romantic dinner. We belonged to the former set.

This restaurant is located on the corner of a street in a prime location, and can be easily spotted. However, parking can be a pain as it’s a busy road with not many free parking slots available especially during peak hours.

Service: The staff were friendly, hospitable and attentive without being too intrusive, enhancing the dining experience significantly. We went in without reservation on a Friday night, and had to wait for a bit before getting a table for 10, but the staff made sure we were comfortable. Despite the early jitters (which wasn’t their fault), they swifted through during the rest of our time there, ensuring we had a good experience.

Estilo paella (£22 for large) - loved it Seafood paella (£22 for large) - loved it Chorizo & Hallomi skewers (£9) - was good Beef meatballs (£7) - was good Spicy chicken wings with sour cream (£8) - was good BBQ ribs with sweet chilli glaze (£10) - liked the most Lamb kofta mezze (£9) - was amazing Seared steak tostada (£9) - was amazing Meat croquettes (£6) - was good Grilled chicken thighs (£11) - was good

Desserts: churros (tasted good with chocolate sauce) chocolate mousse (too chocolatey. Chocolate lovers should love it) lemon crème catalana (too lime-y) Santiago tart (probably the best we tried) ice cream with pedro ximenez (too strong)

Generally, loved everything that was served. The plating was amazing and aesthetically pleasing.

Verdict: an amazing tapas place. Didn’t find any fault, and we got everything what we’d expect from a fancy upscale place. Would...

I went yesterday there to meet up friend. The place inside is nice and cosy, but food ....well , I did order starter "mixed bread with olives tampenade and aioli "-unfortunately it was no mixed bread there that i could see it , plus I did noticed with first bite of bread was cold inside, which means bread was defrosted before serving, and it was just plain under baked baguette. Regarding main course which was "Pasta with Romesco ,goat cheese and almonds" which says underneath should contain tomato, pepper, almond sauce with crumbled goats cheese and toasted almond...it was big disappointment, first of all we waited extremely long for food which eventually arrived as over spiced penne pasta with tomato sauce sprinkled with 4 untoasted almond flakes , hardly could see any goats crumble and taste it, as all what was taste of it was chilli (should be mentioned in card what kind of pepper they using) which I am not fun of it and did not expected that. I had main course replaced but it was again tasteless, simple penne pasta with tomato sauce and once again could keep looking goat cheese crumble with head torch. If you are fun of goat cheese go for goat cheese salad, you may have more luck with founding cheese there between leaves, wish...

Possibly the worst meal and experience I’ve EVER had in any restaurant and I’ve lived in 4 major cities. Don’t be fooled by the decor from the outside and within, that’s where I feel comfortable with giving the 1 star rating. The food served was poor quality meats and unfresh seafood. The wine was so bad we had to send it back — twice. The restaurant looks great outside and in, the decor is perfect however the staff look so dated in their white shirts, aprons and comedy ties - all different styles, lengths & sizes. I think this old school look doesn’t reflect your restaurant decor at all. The place felt soulless, the staff didn’t seem happy to be there which I feel is possibly a rippling effect from poor management. However mangers looked fed up and flustered too. We were told it was so so busy, so they were sorry for the wait but I have to say, not the busiest restaurant it was 9.30pm, so most tables had eaten or left. A poor excuse to cover up for lack of hospitality experience. Safe to say we...

We stumbled in off the street after a day walking the Thames; although essentially fully booked they rearranged tables to fit us in. Five tapas dishes between us, plus sweet potato fries, were produced swiftly. This was a good amount of food! Our favourite was the aubergine closely followed by the baked goat’s cheese. Lots of vegan/ gluten-free options were available. Our fabulous server AJ (who turned out to be a manager working occasional shifts) eventually divulged the secret to the aubergines, crispy on the outside, melting on the inside, doused with sticky date molasses. You’ll have to go yourself and charm your own server to find out! AJ treated us to glasses of delicious Pedro Ximenez to accompany our dessert (vegan raspberry chocolate torte, yes please) and then since we got chatting also introduced us to Liquor 43. We loved this place for the fresh ingredients, ambience and top-notch service.

A pretty good Spanish restaurant with friendly service. Reservations are recommended even on a weekday lunch as they do get quite filled though walk ins are possible if you go earlier during the lunch service. We enjoyed almost every dish. Standouts were the tempura Guindilla Peppers (great with a beer or G&T, not spicy), Estilo paella (nicely cooked rice, but the choice of a single prawn as the dish accent is perplexing on a sharing dish) and the Prawns Pil Pil (great crunch in fragrant oil, some bread on the side would be much appreciated). The sardines were also lovely. The Spanish tortilla was on the bland side and the lamb skewers too dry.
