The Botwell Inn - JD Wetherspoon — Restaurant in London

Well what can I say...KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! SHOUTS OUT TO REBECCA (CHEF)!!! And the polite other members of staff. I visited here yesterday ordered fish and chips as I had done in The Sir Micheal Balcon Ealing branch. I was with a friend who ate with me at the Ealing branch (See other review) and we were so dissapointed with the meal my friend vowed never to eat from Wetherspoons again. However I love me a bit of Wetherspoons so I asked my friend to accompany myself and another family member to the Botwell Inn restaurant. I ordered two meals, fish and chips, bao bun and wings, as my friend refused to eat, on receiving my order my friend changed his mind and asked for a meal. It's normally a place for affordable drinks and fairly edible food, but I was surprised to see a group of parents with very young children at nearly 8 pm on a Thursday. The parents were loud and intoxicated, while the kids, who were mostly in highchairs, were left unsupervised at their own table. One of the adults even asked us to keep an eye on the kids to prevent them from choking, which was quite shocking.

The situation understandably upset an elderly couple nearby, who started shouting at the irresponsible adults. This isn't the kind of environment I'm used to, but I only went for convenience since it was close to the Beck Theatre where I was headed for the evening. I like all Wetherspoon pubs southern and do not like people taking pictures it is one of those I regularly use recently it's had a revamp the staff are very friendly I know a lot of the stuff in there and I know there are a manager very well I don't have a vent prices anymore in there but on event days your drinks will be served in plastic glasses and they don't have a vent prices anymore because a lot of the local pubs around there I'll be in forced to pay event prices and security when the food chains are making more mess then the pub it's just Brent Council getting greedy I speak my mind and my employers are contractors to them we are an Environmental company also do the Wembley cleanup we're there for the whole Borough of...
