I have to comment upon this cosy warm family run local. Large sports screen with the viewing of our queen upon show. A few locals and the snooker table in prime position. Good solid seats with cosy atmosphere. All facilities and guidelines are in place. On my request for an uncommon drink; the young man serving the customers moved right into action by finding a knowledgeable elder who knew of my drink request and was swift to teach the young man serving exactly how it is made to perfection. I was very impressed and delighted by the customer care and thought given toward my request. That made my first visit to this establishment very rewarding and we shall go there again with pleasure. Read moreFantastic friendly, good old fashioned pub... Great staff and clientele and a dcent choice of beverages... Good duke box and decent bands entertain you at the weekend. Oh and Sundays you get to burst your vocal chords at an half decent Karaoke if you can get the mike off the landlord or some of the bar staff...
They've just undertaken a bit of a refurb, inside and out... The garden has been upgraded to provide tasty pizzas and sides... Oh and he's only stuck a Tele out there too... Great viewing the world cup while having a beer and a munch out...
