Sweet Mother of Lord. I love this place so much that I keep it as a secret and think, I can have all the amazing bakery these guys sell to myself.... all mine... mine mine mine lol

On a serious note, this is a real real bakery , not the quick Gregg's or Bakery that buys from elsewhere. They make the shizzle right there infront of you! The star item for me are the Almond Croissants and Sourdough Loaf. This is the best of British Bakery run by a small business with quality in mind. Coffee's are not bad too! Fantastic reasonably priced bread. The baguette is magnificent.

Very good pastries (have so far tried the pain au raisin and the croissant both if which were very good, traditional French style.) If I had one criticism, the croissant could have been slightly airier but it's still the best in the area by a long way, and the closest thing you'll find to a real french croissant in the post code.

Good cinnamon buns people say, I'm more a pastry person so not the best person to review them.

I’ll happily drive over from Chigwell just for their pastries and I know it will be worth every mile! Chocolatine on Wood Street is such a gem. I bought the chocolate and almond croissants, a cheese twist and a pistachio palmiere. All fresh, flaky and absolutely divine. There’s such a great variety here, and the breads look fantastic too. The staff are super friendly, and loved watching one of them make pastry right in the shop front. A bakery well worth the trip. I can’t wait to...
