Unlike Steve, who seems to be a serial Troller based on his other reviews, i go with the other reviewers who have only praised The Kensal Store. It is easy to bash a new business just because it is not your thing. Possibly he mourns the dirty old bookies that previously disgraced this site on College Road. I think the fact that it is constantly busy tells the true story. The store is a Godsend to College Road and the local area. Absolutely incredible store! A real gem! This really caters for the demographic in this area who are more health conscious and eco friendly. The range of locally sourced fresh produce is abundant and there is a bounty of wonderful brands you won’t find in your local supermarket. Love the refillable nuts and seeds and even hand gel, fresh coffee and really tasty deli food. Wonderful experience. A very welcome addition to this lovely community. I shop here regularly and adore the freshly made sushi, the poke bowls and the delicious vegan curries. Their fruit and veg are exceptionally good and regularly refreshed with new stock so no wilting produce. My only quibble is that the staff are continually restocking the shelves and the piles of boxes over the floor cause a bit of an obstacle course!
