I had already visited the restaurant when it had recently opened and decided to take a friend there for his bday, since I had had a very good experience. I asked for the premium service. The waiters were very friendly and their service was the best part really. However, management and food failed miserably. Some of the buffet didn’t taste that fresh. The meat was ok, a couple of cuts were up to part all the rest was a bit tough really (I ate only red meat). And to top it off they brought us this skewer with some meat left on it. It looked good but when I started to chew it, it tasted so odd, sour, bitter and foul that I had to spit it out on the plate. My friend took some as well and before trying his, he smelled it, he looked at me and said “it is off”. It felt so disgusting I couldn’t even put anything else in my mouth. My friend tried to keep things light. He continued eating the other meat since he didn’t eat any of the rotten one. The manager after checking the meat, apologised and offered me a gin and tonic on the house. It was just the worst. The only reason I didn’t leave straight away was because it was my best friend’s bday. But I don’t think I’m coming back any soon. I was so frustrated and upset I would’ve called food safety had been another occasion.

This is one is the nicer Brazilian steakhouse places you can go to in UK but it's not perfect by any means. Pros: - excellent customer service - very clean - good cold buffet options - nice overall selection Cons: - very expensive - the actual meat was underwhelming, the prime cuts were reserved towards the end after you're full (common practice for these restaurants) but even the lesser types of meats were underwhelming, not very tender, and some of them too garlicky (like the lamb cuts) - we went with the Tuesday offer of 2 for 1 and chose the most expensive option of £36 for the premium buffet (which comes to 18pp with the offer) but when we added 3 cakes, some waters and 2 sodas, and service charge, it came to about £120 for 4 people. Without the offer it would've cost us £190 for all of us. This is a lot of money for a Brazilian steakhouse which will feed you mostly with lower grade cuts of beef, and lots of sausages, chicken and lamb as they're cheaper. Overall we had a pleasant time here but for this money you can just go to a traditional steak restaurant where you can choose your cuts and just eat ribeye or sirloin.

We visited this restaurant for the fifth time, but this visit was a disappointment. Touro has always been the best Brazilian steakhouse, but it has now deteriorated like so many others. We invited friends from other countries, praised this steakhouse as the best, and justified its high price. We chose the most expensive option to enjoy the finest meats, but they only served meat 4-5 time - and with far less variety than before. Instead, they brought out a large plate with one type of meat, shrimp, cheese, and salad. While it looked impressive and the meat was well - cooked, it felt like an attempt to stop us from asking for more meat. We specifically requested picanha, but it was served raw, leaving us to wonder if it wasn’t prepared in advance - despite our reservation for seven people. In the end, we paid £460 and left full but deeply disappointed. Sadly, this will be our last visit to what was once a wonderful place, and I can no longer recommend it to anyone.

I used to really enjoy this restaurant. It used to be really good, but after my most recent visit, I honestly won’t be returning. I don’t usually write reviews unless something truly deserves recognition, whether that’s positive or negative, and unfortunately, this one is negative.

It used to be a proper Brazilian rodizio, with the full experience of servers coming around and carving different cuts of meat at your table. The image on the website still shows this as you enter. That’s the main selling point, and what you expect when you go to a rodizio. Now, when ordering a rodizio, they’ve scrapped that entirely and instead bring over a platter of meat to your table, often overcooked and dry, even when you specifically ask for rare. It also puts customers in an awkward position, as you’re left with food you didn’t ask for and may not want, which feels wasteful.

The meat itself was of noticeably poor quality: stringy, fatty, and bland. Far from the juicy, flavourful cuts you’d expect from a genuine rodizio. The buffet table was equally disappointing, limited selection, and bland in taste.

Occasionally, staff will bring out some additional meat, but it’s usually cold cuts, extremely fatty, which gives the impression they’re simply trying to offload leftovers, bad cuts, or overcooked portions.

To make matters worse, none of these major changes are mentioned before you sit down. If they’re no longer offering the traditional rodizio experience, they really shouldn’t be marketing themselves as one.

The service was incredibly slow, which just added to the overall frustration. What used to be a vibrant, exciting dining experience now feels completely lost!

Overpriced, bad quality, and...

I will never go back. It was our first visit. We were celebrating a birthday and ordered the rodizio for 3, however only 1 of us was really served. The beef brought to our table was med rare (which was fine for 1 of us in the group) We asked for medium well for the rest of us, more than once, but never received it. They only brought more med rare/rare with each visit. Each time the server came to our table (which wasn't as often I was told happens) we asked for the chicken and lamb. When the chicken eventually came it was virtually raw, so we couldn't eat it. By the time the lamb came we no longer wanted it. We also had to constantly ask for the pineapple & the cheese, which we only got one helping of. There were no prawns available that day, yet the price was the same. Thank God for the buffet or me & my Mother would not have eaten anything - though the salads were not kept on ice, nor covered. The drinks and atmosphere were good, so we made the most of it for the birthday boy. But on the flip side because it was so noisy we couldn't hear/understand the staff properly at times. For the money we paid it was a complete rip off. We didn't get what we ordered/requested, and couldn't eat most of what we did get. I complained about it after, but to no avail; just an invitation to come back. No chance of that happening - even if the...

I used to really enjoy this restaurant and have visited many times over the years with family, especially for special occasions. While it was always on the pricier side, it was worth it for the proper rodizio experience; skewers of freshly grilled meats carved at the table, paired with a delicious buffet of warm and cold sides.

Unfortunately, our recent visit for Father’s Day was incredibly disappointing and not at all what it used to be. The rodizio offering has completely changed, instead of carving skewers at the table, meats were brought out on boards or in bowls, steakhouse-style. Most of the meats were either dry, overcooked, or unpleasantly fatty and chewy. Despite asking for rare, almost everything was served well-done and lacked seasoning altogether. We struggled to eat much of it.

The buffet was equally underwhelming; a handful of lacklustre salads and very few hot sides, nowhere near the variety or quality they once offered.

At £35 per person for the rodizio (or £22 for the buffet), it’s frankly outrageous for the poor quality and experience now being delivered. On top of that, service was extremely slow throughout our meal.

Sadly, I would no longer recommend this restaurant to anyone. It’s lost what made it special, and we definitely won’t...
