The Larrik — Restaurant in London

I am extremely disappointed by this place. I was badly received, and by incompetent waitresses.

Working myself 46 hours a week in the field of catering/hospitality, I am very tolerant by nature towards this kind of situation. Nevertheless, I sat with my sister at a table but no waitress came to take our order or even give us at least the menu. We expressed our desire to order food. One waitress arrived at our table saying that we had to hurry because the kitchen was closing soon. Then we had to wave to her several times so that she would not forget us. It is as if we were ghosts, we could have sat for hours doing nothing, NOBODY would have come to ask us if we wanted to order. Finally she comes to take the order to tell us that the kitchen is closed.

I find that there is NO professionalism in this kind of behavior, it wasted our time. The young girl could have asked us as soon as we arrived if we wanted to eat or drink. Moreover, if we hadn't waited so long to be noticed, maybe we would have had time to order before the kitchen closed.

I specify that I do not question the quality of your products (dishes, drinks…), I underline the incompetence of this waitress despite the room not being full. We left extremely disappointed with the situation despite the atmosphere of the pub which seemed warm. However, my sister having come several times, recommend me this "good" address but also left disappointed. This is the first and last time I will set foot in this place. I do not recommend this...

We honestly cannot thank The Larrik enough for making our wedding reception in August so perfect. Words truly fall short in describing just how grateful we are to Yavor and his incredible team. Our wedding was booked very last minute, and our guest numbers quickly grew (68), but nothing was ever too much trouble. We ended up hiring the pub for our wedding lunch and it could not have been more wonderful.

The service was exceptional from start to finish — attentive, friendly and full of energy — and the food was absolutely outstanding. We had so many guests comment on how delicious everything was, which was amazing! In the lead-up to the day, Yavor was unbelievably patient with my endless questions and always so reassuring.

On the day itself, both Yavor and Ollie went above and beyond to make sure everything ran seamlessly. The warmth, professionalism and positive energy from the entire team created such a special and memorable atmosphere — it genuinely felt like we were being looked after by friends.

The Larrik will forever hold a very special place in our hearts. Thank you again to Yavor, Ollie and the whole team for being such an unforgettable part of our wedding day. We could not recommend The Larrik more highly — if you’re considering hosting an event here, do it, you will...

I had a terrible experience at this pub and will never be coming back. I was robbed inside the premises and felt completely unsafe. The atmosphere is careless — they don’t seem to check who comes in, no ID was asked from anyone even though we were all students, and yet anyone can just walk in like they own the place.

On the night this happened (Sunday around 9:30pm), a very shady individual walked straight in wearing a cap and carrying flowers, acting like he knew the pub inside out. That man ended up robbing me. The CCTV footage was blurry and almost useless, and this happened in an area of the pub that was rented to us.

To be clear, I don’t blame the staff on shift — but the owner is completely at fault for running such an unsafe place and showing zero care afterwards. There was no follow-up from management even though the crime happened inside their property. That speaks volumes about how little they value customer safety.

We were sitting outside, but staff closed the outdoor area early and forced us back in. Ironically, I think we would have been safer outside.

This pub is unsafe, badly managed, and does not take customer protection seriously. I would strongly advise others...
