The Nonsuch Inn - JD Wetherspoon — Restaurant in London

Just got home from an horrendous experience at the Nonsush inn Cheam. Been for a meal and a couple of drinks at the Lord Nelson for a change from the wetherspoons in cheam.(excellent meal and service thanks to our waitress Chelsea at the Nelson) Thought we would stop off for dessert and a night cap on the way home at the Wetherspoons Nonsuch Inn Cheam where we frequent many times. Asked for a table for two but refused entry because were told we we had too much too drink. Excuse me !! No explanation given and lady manager reused to give name or explanation why we were refused entry other than she said we had too much to drink which we had not had unless you class a bottle of wine between two and a beer each excessive for two 60 plus adults. Cannot understand how she came to her reasoning all she kept repeating was that she refused to give her name and said she was not obliged too serve us. Very upset and will take this further with John Hutson. She obviously had in it in for us and I'm sure there were a lot of intoxicated people already in the bar who she was obviously not concerned about other than letting me and my husband in. Have frequented this place since opening but my family and I will boycott this place in future and if this is how you are treated. Definitely reccomend the Nelson food is much better and is our...

Ordered a large mixed grill, and confirmed twice with the girl behind the bar that is a Large Mixed Grill.. Guess what, a small mixed grill turned up! The waiter goes off, comes back after a minute that apparently I only paid for small one. Never kept the receipt, so I paid him the difference in price. Took them another 10 minutes to bring back my meal, by this time my mate has already finished his burger. I thought they must have prepared a new dish.. Nope.. Brings me the same dish with the extras added, and to keep it worm they microwaved it, which turned the chips soggy.. Terrible.. Should've returned it but I was just too hungry and just couldn't bother.. Why only one star? Well, last time I went there I only got 3 pieces of meat instead of 4.. The time before that, I did get 4 pieces, but tiny pieces, and over cooked.. I always get the large mixed grill at weatherspoons so I know what I can expect. This weatherspoons is the poorest of the lot for food. The only reason I stop here is cause it's conveniently on route from the autojumble every couple of months....

Dreadful experience. First the staff moaned that my little 2 year old was laughing at a game he was playing and asked iff we could tell him to be quite. Second for the price of food yea its cheap but at nearly £8 for burger and chips your expect more than 8 chips and a burger that's smaller than McDonald's across the road. And third I got asked to stop vaping my electric cigarette outside yes that's right out side in an open space as the proper smokers didn't like the fruit smell. When I said it's public space and I don't like the smell of there smoke yet I don't complain she said you either stop or you will get asked to leave and not return. I tried explaining that I am out side and standing at least 10ft from the doors so I don't see how she can tell me to stop using it as they don't own the pavement to which I was told yes they do. In actual fact I standing closer to the alley way next door that goes to sainsburys than I was the pub but obviously they own absolutely everything.
