The worst place I've ever stayed in. I wouldn't let my enemy stay in there for a night. The rooms are filthy, atmosphere is horrible and it's dull. Got given a room with filthy bed sheets, dirty floor, grime everywhere. we got given a new room which I was no better. Under the bed has never seen a hoover, an empty Viagra packet in the draw with a piece of paper with the same combination they gave us so anyone could get in the room who has stayed there before. In the bed size table there was a mouldy naan bread in a packet. The bed sheets was dirty so I covered clothes that I had on the bed. When I woke up in the morning I was disgusted to see bed bugs on the bed I was sleeping on!!! I took a picture of one too. This place is a dive and is not fit for any human staying. The shower was diabolical. Hair, grime and mould. Probably never been cleaned since it was put in. They had old beds in the hallway and broken TVs. The car park has a woman in a small caravan that asked me to move the car because it was blocking her internet signal from the pub but it was the only place we could see the car. There is a static caravan with about 10 young kids staying in it. The car park looks like it had a fire there so probably some lovely nails for those car tyres. A local said the owner doesn't care about the pub or it's customers. We booked 2 nights but definitely didn't return after the first.

Entered into the inn. Nice pub from the looks of it. Entered into the room, met with a creaky door and waft of muggy hot air. The sight of two small beds covered by stained sheets was next to greet us. A small table with grime and dried puddles of I don’t want to know sat between the beds, complete with no furnishing. Two small chairs and a table sat on the left of the door, also gifted with dried puddles. The bathroom was shared and not clean… at all. There was two water bottles sat next to the toilet, much to my dismay when I struggled to see where the toilet roll was kept. Just one roll rested on the radiator, almost finished. The shower was in that same bathroom, with a brown hue across the plastic bottom of the cubicle, with a clump of hair adorning the left most corner. After this sight me and my partner decided to leave and find any other establishment to stay at. It was 23:30 as we were frantically looking for other options. Don’t repeat our mistake.

WARNING!! DO NOT ENTER - should be condemned. These pictures were all taken before anyone even used the bathroom. We tried to clean the toilet but the bottle of bleach was empty and I don’t know why because it certainly hasn’t been used in the toilet bowl. We randomly had 2 kettles with no cups or tea and coffee, the room was dusty, I didn’t find them until the morning but the mattress had bed bugs and blood stains on it 🤮. The bathroom door wouldn’t even close let alone lock, not that I’d want to be in that room when the door was closed anyway, there was no bathroom towels to even wipe your hands, let alone dry yourself if someone were too brave the shower. The toilet paper was placed in the corner of the bathroom floor as there was no holder. We had no real issues with the staff but there was no customer service at all. Surprisingly we would not be revisiting.

This place isn't fit to stay in and unsafe avoid at all costs.

The recent IT outage forced me to make a late booking to get my family a bed for the night. Every nearby hotel or B&B was rammed to the hilt with people in our position so the options were limited. I wasn't too fussed and didn't read the reviews but because of a lack of options I powered through. I've been in some similarly rated B&B's (2 or 3 out of 5) and had zero issues but on this occasion my desperation resulted in a big mistake.

The people who own the apparent chain of B&B's (Twinned with the Swan Inn) were friendly and accomodating during a very stressful situation. One offered to help with bags and the gentleman who owns the Old Oak made changes when there was an error (Or a potential mistake on my part) with the online booking. Fair's fair, had nothing against them personally and thanked them for being accomodating despite the fact they run nothing short of the worst B&B I've ever seen. Didn't try the food so didn't rate.

On arrival the room was bare and dirty, no towels or any kind of basic necessity with the exception of toilet paper. Toilet was obviously backed up and one wrong flush would have had the tiny bathroom in a nasty situation. The whole building absolutely stinks, the hallways and room had a stench that doesn't leave you. When we got to our new hotel we each took hour-long showers because we didn't dare use theirs. Bare cables behind the bed, had to tuck those to safety. Absolutely minging floors, our socks were put straight in bin liners afterwards. The beds were seemingly washed but the overall smell of the room permeated them irreparably.

Now, we weren't fussy and just wanted to avoid spending a night in an airport but now I wish I had. The noise was incessant for most of the evening. The pub below was busy until 1am, loud and obnoxious neighbours had arguments and all sorts of carry on until even later. One poor soul next door, in a similar position to us, shouted at folks to keep the noise down or he'd phone the police and was greeted with jeers and threats. When the noise died down and the garbage clientele had gone to sleep we finally got some rest.

We left first thing in the morning and found post-party, inebriated or stoned (hard to tell) squatters sleeping rough round the back. Glad to be shot of that place. I regretted every moment of the stay and felt horrendous for putting my family through such an experience where there was clearly the potential for some dodgey goings on. Unsafe, filthy and tiring.

I feel fortunate that we didn't get bed bugs but I still bin-bagged all the clothes we wore just to be on the safe side. Found a floor beetle in my wife's clothes afterwards (Similar to bed bugs) but just the one, no infestation thankfully. We just locked the door and survived. We were personally not treated badly or directly exposed to direct danger (Probably because we only stayed for a few hours and bolted in the early morning) but anyone else planning to make a booking here might not be so lucky.

I've been in some bad B&B's, even one with bed bugs, but this one absolutely takes the bottom spot for worst B&B experience. It's not a convenient, cheap option, it's more trouble than it's worth. The owners clearly don't seem to care or are so apathetic to the situation that they are physically unable to meet even the most basic needs of customers.

Absolutely avoid, choose...

One of the most disgusting "hotels" I have ever stayed in.

The exterior of the pub looked abandoned. It looked like it was closed down. There were no signs on the doors outside, apart from going at the back of the pub. I thought it was closed at first.

Check in was great, and the "manager" showed me the room.

Oh boy....now for the worst part.

The room was severely damp. It was so damp, that my chest started to hurt. There was an intense aroma, that opening the windows on a windy day didn't work. I informed the staff member about this, and he said that there was nothing wrong with the room.

TV worked, but remote was broken. Wasn't a problem, as the buttons were on the side. No towels. Ceiling had water damage marks, and the begs were filthy. Kettle had toxic mould in it.

I informed the manager and he became aggressive. He shouted, "If you want to check out and leave now, then go!" Then he walked away and went to the bar downstairs. He didn't give me a chance to talk. He was so rude, that if I was the owner of the property, he would be fired instantaneously.

The staff member allocated me to another room, but it was worse. There was no unpleasant smell, but the room was severely dusty. Also, there were loose electric cables hanging around on the walls, and there were bed bugs on the beds late at night.

As for the pub part, now I know why it was painfully quiet at night. I wouldn't be surprised if it closes down soon.

The whole property inside and outside looks abandoned.

Environmental Health has been contacted, and currently awaiting for a response in order for them to visit the property. There are no health and safety protocols in the establishment.

OYO should be ashamed of themselves.

Anyone who rated this place more than 1 star, are probably friends of the manager, and/or are only customers of the pub and not the hotel. Most 5 star reviews are probably from the in-crowd.

Stay away from this dump! The manager and the staff need some serious training, especially on how to treat the hotel guests with respect, and provide them with good quality rooms. Also, the manager and the staff were unprofessionally dressed. Stained baggy t-shirts, jogging trousers, and flip-flops? They were dressed like they just got out of bed in the mornings at home.

Anything positive? Yes - the cats...

Hi, My name is Ben Kongpan Phanudom. I've made a booking with Old Oak Tree inn London from 1st - 16th October 15nights through Agoda.com our booking ID is 583275643 the room we book is Standard Twin with Private Bathroom . Apparently we didn't stay that hotel at all. Me & My wife arrived at the hotel around 9pm on 1st to check in, the guy at the bar host us I guess he's a receptionist. He just ask my name is gave me the code to enter the room he not do any check in not even ask to see my passport to check if I'm the right guest or not. He took us to show our room. Once we saw our room I was in a big shock of how the room looked like. It's very dirty & smells. Exposed wire laying down on the the floor and our our room is no bathroom. So I talk to the guy that this is not what we booked for we have booked room with a private bathroom. And then he said no we book a room with share bathroom we try to hell him we didn't book share bathroom and then he said we don't have room with a private bathroom. So me & My wife decided to left because we were really upset about the room and everything so we tod the guy at the reception that we not gonna stay we not happy with room and everything was wrong we feel really bad and ask how can we get the refund back. All he said just go to talk to the agents who we made a booking from. I try to chase them up with a Agoda.com every day asking for my refund since 1st October until now they said the property still not respond back. I knew that my booking was non refundable but this is not my fault we have to leave because they give us wrong room type. It's not what we booking for its not what we pay for. And the room are really smells & super dirty. Worst than that is they're exposed wire on the floor this is really Dangerous so how can they not about health & safety. I'm really upset & really sad till now it's been 16 days already we've been waiting for someone to take responsibility for our booking I really think I deserve to get my full refund from Old oak tree in. I've sent an email to them too many times but they never respond back Regards Ben...
