I ordered from here through Deliveroo last night as last time I got food from here it was delicious. The delivery said 40 minutes, there was an issue with the driver, granted not the restaurant’s fault. When I called the restaurant and spoke to a so called “manager” he apologised but also continues to say the driver kept saying 5 minutes 5 minutes. Knowing the food had been sitting out for long enough already it continued to sit out whilst waiting for a driver. When I mentioned this to the “manager” he said we don’t have things to keep the food warm. I mentioned knowing he knew the driver was taking longer and food had been sitting out for over 45 minutes that he should have made fresh food to which his response was then we will have to waste more food. This to me was unacceptable, He willingly gave our freezing cold stale food to the driver to be delivered to us to be thrown straight in the bin. The onion bhajis is where in the bottom of the plastic bag not even in the packaging. In one breath he said we don’t have contact with Deliveroo and then said I have contacted them to see how long the driver would be, obvious lie. This is not the kind of response you would expect from a manager who would willingly give out cold food to save money but disappoint the customer. So so disappointed in this place...

Food is awful. I went there with my parents and brother, travelled all the way from East London hoping that the food is going to be amazing after reading the positive reviews. I am not sure what other people see in their food, but I honestly though it was horrendous. We ordered a mix platter for £20 and it came with only 2 chops and 2 kebabs. How am I meant to share that between 4 people without causing any arguments?? I think they are very tight on their lamb in the mixed platter. The platter came with chicken tikka pieces which were rock solid as if they had already been cooked in the morning or night before but microwaved just before they were bought out to us. My mother ordered boondi raita for her starter and this made me angry as the yoghurt was out of date as you can see a layers of yellow thin liquid at the stop and it was so ill prepared; it was like someone just chucked the boondi in a tub of out of date yoghurt. Ordered masala chips and that was the only decent thing I remember eating. I ordered karahi chicken for mains and it just tasted way too much of turmeric. I have eaten at many different indian places and this karahi chicken dish did not taste anything like it should do....

Not entirely sure, but grilled foods - chicken/lamb tikka & lamb kebabs etc. - taste like these items are actually pre-cooked for convenience and then warmed up again either in the tandoor or microwave and served to the customer on sizzling platters. Customer can't see the kitchen as it is located behind tightly closed doors, so not easy to see whether grilled items are freshly cooked to order. This reviewer has strong doubts, as a chicken tikka order had some lukewarm or cold pieces delivered on a hot sizzling platter. The pub, overall, is run down and located in a run down and congested area of Southall. But it is usually busy with beer fans during football season. (Curry dishes, it should be said, are either good or probably just okay, nothing special.) Pub staff are friendly and service is very good though. So, go try this pub out...

We had a brilliant time, fab service, huge menu. Sport on TV. Food was outstanding, if you want your desi fix! Lovely Naan's, hot and tasty 😋 All the grills were exceptional. Lamb Chops 👍 Mixed Grill 👍 POW Grill 💪 All the elements within are well spiced, cooked and tasty. The issue is there is so much food, so don't over order or you will be taking it home for later, as a mixie is never as good once it starts going cold. The menu is massive and there was no London pricing uplift, for those who are connoisseurs of Midlands Desi Punjabi pubs, pricing is the same if not cheaper ! There is no onsite parking and being Southall, parking is tough but in the side streets you will eventually find a spot. Excellent overall 😁

On initial view this is a very basic pub. However, the lamb chops are juicy, with an Indian spice mix that is not too spicy with extra garlic coming through. The lamb is tender and the fat cooked to perfection with bits that are charred from the tandoor. My cousin recommended this place just for that. However, also had the Chicken Bhuna and Nan as recommended by the barman. The former had a great tomatoe sauce again with the right amount of Indian spice - absolutely delicious. The latter was thin and soft just how it should be, so you are not getting full on the bread. Highly recommend this place for the lads.

We had a rather disappointing experience with both the service and the food at this restaurant. Despite ordering Masala Paneer, we were served Butter Paneer. When we brought this to the staff's attention, they refused to acknowledge the mistake. As a result, the Butter Paneer tasted overly sweet and lacked flavor. The Tarka Dal, while tasting good, was not what I would consider traditional Tarka Dal as it contained chana dal. The staff seemed inattentive and relied on their poor and short-term memories, which was frustrating. Personally, I wouldn't recommend this place to families.
