The Palmers Greenery Community Cafe is very well run by a dedicated team of volunteers. Without any doubt, the introduction of the community cafe has been one of the best things to have happened at Broomfield Park in the recent years, as it does bring plenty of togetherness within the local community.
I like the setup of the seating area, and the friendly atmosphere. There are a decent range of drinks and snacks on sale, recently the popular snack being hummus, pitta and vegetables for £3 (as seen in the photos). I do recommend anyone to try the cakes (locally baked) and homemade cookies, very delicious. The volunteers make a very good tea/coffee, are always welcoming and hardworking at all times (no matter if there's a big amount of customers to serve at once).

Read moreI totally understand that this is a community cafe and I understand the workers are volunteers that work for free, but last week I experienced a woman pretty much having a breakdown when I said the coffee was cold. I emailed the cafe and had no reply, this crazy woman filmed me and came out of the cafe screaming at me telling passers by that I’m rude, she made a total show of herself I didn’t even need to say anything, I just stood there and watched her make a fool of herself.
