If you’re looking for the best pub experience in the Finsbury Park and Crouch Hill area, look no further. This place is a gem! The service is nothing short of incredible – friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between cozy and vibrant, making it an ideal spot whether you’re catching up with friends or just unwinding after a long day. But the true standout here is the beer selection. It’s a refreshing departure from the usual high-commercial offerings and those overly experimental “local” brews. Every beer on the menu tastes like it’s been curated with care – unique, full of character, and properly delicious. This pub truly sets the standard for the area. Highly recommend it to anyone nearby or even those willing to travel for a great pint!

Great little drinking place if you like good tasting stout. I had the milk stout. Very friendly & relaxed service. Knowledgable staff. Got to try the 2 stouts they had before choosing. An American stout and the milk. Affordable. Highly recommended Love this place, really welcoming and friendly staff. Always get to try something before you choose which is a great way to explore new beers or wines. The place has a chilled, relaxed vibe. Music nice and not too loud. Great place to meet up with friends and have quality, relaxed time together.

I didn't know the pub had changed hands / changed from years age when itvwas The Brave Sir Robin and a bit more cocktails... the ales were great. Three lovely strong cloudy IPAs on tap, huge range, lovely vibe with plants handing from the ceiling, overgrown window boxes, dog friendly, friendly staff, young crowd, plenty of seating outside too Definitely worth a visit. Much better than before Place was busy on bank holiday Sunday but seats available and people cool so share with opposite ends of a big table. Wine on tap too.

The service wasn’t very good, staff seemed very inexperienced and awkward. My burger came without tomatoes, pickles and cucumbers (which my parter who had ordered the exact same thing got in his burger) the salad i did get smelled strange aswell. The cooking staff (who i was told were from a completely different company) weren’t wearing hair nets and someone was cooking in a dress (which i believe is extremely unproffesional) When i questioned other staff about this they were quite rude and seemed unbothered about the whole situation. Everytime we asked about why our food was taking SO long we kept being told that the staff were new (i am not surprised) I payed almost £10 for a very small patty in my burger, most of my salad missing and the little salad i did get in it tasting old. The only good thing i experience here were the drinks and the wedges which i must say to be fair the wedges were really good but that’s where it ends. I would’nt recommend eating here if you actually enjoy food. I would also like to add that i have NEVER left a review for a place serving food in my entire life, so it must...

I would like to start this review by saying that I created a Gmail account purely for the purpose of writing this short article.

I had walked past the BSR (Brave Sir Robin) a few times previous, but hadn't been in for more than drinks before tonight - when everything changed. My mentor, Umut, a philosopher who lives locally, insisted not only that we eat there together, but further, it must be the Vegan Chicken Burgers.

They were (and are) a revelation. Buns - 9 Sauces - 8.5 Salad - 9 Vegan Chicken - 10 Overall - 9.125 . The vegan chicken steals the show; I must admit, I asked the staff to double check with the kitchen that there hadn't been a mistake (the mistake being serving me REAL chicken)!

The staff were polite and attentive and the Gin Slims (Slimline), which Umut also insisted on, and paid for, were excellent. All made for a very special night.

The booking process was slightly confusing, and I did 'muck' this up, but with some help, I got there in the end.

Thanks to the BSR and to Umut for a lovely time, I'll be back with the two of you...

Great pub. My first time here and I liked the customer service, COVID precautions, and quality of drinks & food.

All the staff were very friendly, polite, attentive and knowledgeable. I liked how seriously they are adhering to COVID precautions. They take track & trace details; insist on disinfecting your hands on entry; have a lot of space between tables (more than 1 metre); it's table service only, so only getting up to go to the toilet or entry/exit. I was very impressed.

Their wine selection isn't vast but what we had was good - the sauvignon blanc and Malbec stood out. Their reccomendation of the Deya Steady Rolling Man IPA was a great choice!

They currently have Coqfighter in the kitchen and we just had their wings but they were really good! Very crispy, meaty and flavourful.

Overall, a great pub that I'll definitely go...
