Paid £7.40 for a goats cheese, spinach, caramelised onion and pepper sandwich on white bread. See below for sandwich contents . It most definitely could not be described as a goats cheese sandwoch and no caramelised onion just slimy sweated down onion. For a £7 I would expect real bread not plastic bread. Didn’t take any pics of my daughter’s sandwich but equally as bad, not fresh turkey, cheap reformed turkey slices and two slices of Brie. Very disappointing and will not be returning, way over priced for its sandwich offering.

Ordered a takeaway via just eat.. ordered the breakfast double (bacon and egg ciabatta) however it turnt up as some soggy toast, bacon was over cooked and egg was like rubber. I also ordered 2 orange juices and only received one. Tried to call, but no answer. First and last time I will be ordering. The menu “seems” really nice from first look……. :/

We had an afternoon tea with friends - 7 of us. It was the right choice of a place, wonderful atmosphere and good service - Charlie, Chris and one more boy (do not know the name) made everything for us to feel comfortable. Plenty of sandwiches, pastries, cakes, no limitation on tea/coffee... Left absolutely happy.

If I could give zero stars I would !! Do not waste your time !!! It looks like a lovely place but shocking ! Was told by the waitress she would wipe down our table and bring cutlery even when asking again about 10 mins after she never did . Drinks were average and the latte was cold they should have labeled it iced coffee . Was told food was a 20 min wait which we was happy to wait for - 30 mins later was told that they are sorry and it would definitely be another 10 . 45 mins later we asked if we could be told how much longer or we want a refund and they said it MIGHT be another 15 mins but they didn’t know ?? The cafe wasn’t busy at all it had roughly 15 customers ( considering this place is fairly big it wasn’t full at all ) and we ordered 1 cold sandwich, 1 toastie and a breakfast that they couldn’t make within 1 hour . Absolutely shocking . It seemed that no one knew or was concerned we had waited 45 mins for our food and was happy to tell us they didn’t know how much longer . Other customers had also asked for refunds and sent back stone cold food or drinks . I’ve walked past this place for years and made the mistake of giving it a try , will definitely never return . Refund was given with a half hearted apology and no questions or explanations given . Even people listens to our complaints and walked out...

I ordered a Veg breakfast today. When eating the spinach I noticed a brown item rather like a dried out raisin but larger. Called the waitress who apologised but did not know what it was. I asked her to find out ,at which point the plate was taken away. About 5minutes later I asked her again and she advised me that they were trying to work out what it was. Eventually I went up to the counter where they were still trying to figure it out. To my eye it looked like a lump of dried soil as when I cut into it it was crumbly. However I got the distinct impression that they were trying to imply that it wasn’t there when the plate of food was delivered to me. I explained that it was in the spinach at which point I was told they washed the spinach. I am feeling rather sick with the experience, a quick meal before an appointment turned into an unpleasant experience especially the attitude of the staff. Apart from the first waitress I spoke to who apologised for not knowing what the item was there was no apology at all. I would definitely not go to this cafe again and would urge anyone who eats there to...

I used to go there quite regularly before the change of hands. Service was terrible (2 weeks ago) . Myself and other tables were waiting over 45mins for our food. We had to ask waitress to check for food and only then did she appear with food which was luke warm by the time it came to us. Food is nothing to write home about, just passable, it didn't help that it wasn't hot. Table next to mine complained to manager about long wait, she didn't really say anything except sorry for the lack lustre service. Because of our poor experience there I will not be retuning there. If the business owner is not careful they will be losing a lot of business to other cafes in the area. These are hard times and businesses such as this one need to take on-board all customer feedback if they...
