An OK pub, had a number of drinks whilst watching football (small screens) and played a few games of pool. Upon leaving we were aggressively challenged by the barman (perhaps owner) for not donating to a charity for using the table (various expletives accompanied our exit).
My advice would be to make the pool usage conditions clearer, certainly be less aggressive, and perhaps invest in some non-half-pint glasses for those who aren't...
Read moreIt's alright, a decent enough local pub. The bar staff seem to know everyone, plenty of regulars. Seem friendly enough, and there's plenty of comfy chairs. It's a good place for a quiet pint. All mixers come from a bottle rather than from the tap, which is nice.
